i got my ride last nov 2011 (strada 2.5 glsv m/t). my question is, what are the short and long term effect on the brake system in my ride if the hand brake was engaged for about 12km of drive? My wife accidentally drove the car in that condition.

then do appropriate action to correct the problem.
