    Hi tsikoters...

need your advice.. yung front right side wheel ng crosswind ko, d pantay kain ng goma. yung outer niya mas pudpod compared sa inner. pero slight lang been using the wheel for more than a year.

    thanks

and imho, hindi sa lubak yan... may worn out suspension components ka that causes that excessive toe... most probably, tingin ko dyan is yung tie rod or ball joint. pero mas maganda kung mapa check mo dahil mas mahal ang goma, specially dyan sa xwind mo.

sa katunayan, isa sa sakit ng crosswind yan. mileage? meron nga after wheel alignment ganun pa rin. at least every 5K kms pa check mo.

pag alignment ang problem, after the fact mo na kita ang result. Hindi pantay na pudpud ng gulong.

    question:
what's the ideal number of months / kms of having your alignment/camber checked?

every 6 months? every x,xxxx km?

technically it should be checked every six months, but it would all depend on the road conditions that you are always into. ako personally, every year lang ang check or if may nararamdamang hindi tama.

kung front right side lang kamo ang mas pudpod at labas, masama ang adjustment ng toe, caster at camber. makikita naman yan sa electronic wheel alignment checkup.

    Hi ... thanks to all.

I will have it checked. in the meantime pinalipat ko lang gulong, i mean yung labas na pudpod pinalipat ko sa inner.

    my crosswind's mileage is 100k.

    anthon,
your right tire wears out on the outer side normally if you drive on the right side of the road as in the u.s., australia and the rest of the world except england and japan. it is simple geometry, you take a bigger radius turning left than turning right. when you turn left, specially you make it quicker since the traffic lights in the Peelipins are crazy, when you turn right, the radius is tighter and you don't really see 100% what's around the corner, you tend to turn slower. hence your right front (wheel #2) outer side of your tire tends to wear out faster. have your tire rotated as per owner's manual, or every 20k miles.
