Every car, big or small, will benefit from an ABS. The only reason it isn't made standard on every car, like airbags, is the cost.

Yes! You can be an expert in trail braking but in sudden emergencies, even the experts will lock their wheels. You need ABS

Yes because there would be an instance where you would be in a slippery road surface or avoid an incoming road hazzard. ABS gives you the advantage in preventing your wheels from locking up during hard braking.
