Rack and pinion repair?

How much would it cost for the repair of rack and pinion of my Toyota corolla 95 XE? is the repair kit for this the same with the O-ring sold separately? there a big price difference between the repair kit and O-ring. more that 2k difference. and any idea how much if i change the whole rack and pinion? can you suggest where i can have this done. im in balintawak QC area. thanks alot

sir nasa 2.3-2.5k labor and repair kit.... add ka ng 500 kung need pa ipa machine shop... its near banawe and e. rodriquez...

kung galing kayo sa araneta ave going to sta. mesa turn left to e. rodriguez then una or ikalawang kanto turn right... makikita nyo na po yun madaming gumagawa ng p.s. dun... mura at sanay na sanay na sila gumawa dun ng rack and pinion...

Manual ba sir? Hanap ka surplus sir. 2.5k-3.5k range. I got mine for 2.3k but pang 92. Maybe pwede sa 101 nyo. Banawe or Evangelista. Papalitan nyo plastic bushing inside. Plitan nyo na rin rack clamp bushings at ties rods para isang labor lang.

Reviving this thread..to TS, how was your rack and pinion repair? I was told by casa that my Xtrail's rack and pinion has a leak at kelangan na daw repair or palitan. New rack and pinion sa casa costs around 48K++ while repair/overhaul is 22K++. Im looking for a reputable repair shop outside casa who can do repairs/overhaul at a lower cost. I hope you guys can suggest some. Thanks!

sir LUAP try nyo dito.... lahat po ng sasakyan ginagawa dun ive seen honda, nissan, bmw, mercedez.... kanto shop lang yun pero sa RACK N PINION sila expert....

mas ok dun sa mga wheel alignment shops para minsanan na pati alignment and camber. google mo lang "wheel alignment (your location)" dami na lalabas.

basta huwag lang sa rapide, sasakit lang ulo mo pag dun ka pumunta.
