Best example, pag downhill, (3rd or 4th gear ako), parang nag eengine brake agad and bumabagal talaga takbo kahit pababa, pag hindi ako nakatapak sa accelerator.

Sorry new driver lang, wala pa experience and wala ko comparison.

    Salamat sa sasagot.

Check if the brakes are dragging
After a stright drive of about 20 minutes feel for a difference in temperature between the two front wheels if you don't have an infra red thermometer. If the two front wheels have different temperatures and the one with the newly replaced birfield joint has dragging brakes. This could be attributed to improper reassembly, restrictive brake hose, misalignment of the brake parts. Although a remote possibility, the brake master cylinder could be at fault. Take it back to who replaced the joint and voice your concern and have them revisit the last known disturbed area.

Thanks for the advises.

    Glad that you're contented

Do nt touch the brake rotors until they cool off.
Check the wheel not the rotor. If the cr can roll by itself on a slight incline in neutral and parking brakes releasedthat confirms your brakes are not dragging

Thanks Sir. Actually I just realised that kind of testing when I got home yesterday.

Will definitely try that once I go out again.

Example:

    Before:
Downhill, 4th gear is up to 80kph -accelator not press
    Now:
Downhill, 4th gear is up to 60kph -accelator not press

    Salamat

The brakes temperatures are subjective based on ambient tmperature, speed, gross vehicle weight, wheel material (alloy or steel), brake pad type, brake rotor material and thickness and air flow across the brake rotors.

What you should be looking at is whether the temperatures are relatively balanced between sides.

Maybe too, your brakes need servicing. If you disc/drum brakes, it could be caused by brake dust accumulation inside the brake drums
