Mga dre, my lower suspension bushing (big) is due as may punit na sya. Replacement lang yung current ko and it lasted 1 year lang (replacement jap[an made bought from toyoramaat 250/pc). I'm inclined to try Cruven's solution na fabricate na gawa sa truck tire rubber. any reviews on this? 500/pc eh. Thanks

If you have the means to buy a new bushing rather than fabricating it, I suggest just buy.

With my experience with Cruven Fairview branch way back some 2 years ago, I don't even consider going to that shop anymore. It cost me even more and in the end, I ended up with my trusted shop and buying new parts for my Mazda pickup (already sold). All of those parts that they Cruven reconditioned just went to trash.

Hi Sir, I am the owner of Cruven Sucat. I just came across your comment today. I would appreciate it if you could let me know your plate number or name or you can call us at Cruven Sucat (825-4874) to let us know the details so that I can investigate what happened here. We carry records of the repairs and we will be able to identify the mechanic who worked on your car. Thank you for the feedback. This is important to us to help us improve on our service. Thank you again.

This is my first time to post sa thread and just wanted to express thanks sa mga members for posting their experiences and suggestions. I had a suspension issue last December, whenever daan ako sa EDSA lakas ng "TOG" sound sa Front-Right side ng CAR so I decided to replace my shocks na baka kasi due na din my car is '98 model nissan sentra.

Dinala ko car ko sa trusted kong mechanic for 5 years na pero engine expertise nya inde suspension so sabi ko just replace the bushings and pakitingnan na din other parts ng suspension. And also palit shocks na even though sabi nya ok pa naman daw. After changing everything, I started hearing a minimal "tok" whenever daan sa humps and pagdating sa EDSA parang ganun pa din so binalik ko and he tried looking for that little "tok" sound but couldnt find it so I decided to find alternative suspension experts.

Found this forum and saw Cruven is a good suggestion but later on read na iba na ung mga feedback so I decided to go to Zee instead yesterday. I was the 3rd car around 8am andun na ako and when I told the problem at inangat ung car ko the mechanic told me na baka ung plastic cover para inde mabasa ung belt ko so sabi nya remove nya daw muna and we did a road test, ayun wala na nga ung little "tok" sound.

Next was the "TOG" sound which isinama na nya ung shock expert sa test drive in which when they heard it alam na daw nila why, its because of my springs, inde daw pantay which is true naman way back years ago napalitan ung springs ko inde for some reason and inde ko naging problem until now. So they suggested to either buy surplus or putol daw, surplus na lang sabi ko and then they also checked the bushings if buo pa and shock mounting. Overall they did tell me the real deal which is ung shock mounting ko is sira na, bushings are all good, springs na lang talaga.

Overall gastos, Php1950 for Shock Mounting (replacement), Spring (right side) and Labor, I gave them extra Php200 kasi they even placed grease to other parts of the suspension para mas smooth daw. So thank you guy and thank you Zee, satisfied sa service!!!

    replace front shock mount
    replace front shocks
    alignment.

New here. I already tried Cruven once...ok naman. May kalampag dati yung kotse ko na 1994 corolla xl, after changing all suspensions, although surplus lang yung sa harap, may hindi matanggal na tunog pag nalulubak. So I tried having it checked by mega motion, sabi nila yung bearing daw sa strut mount, sira na, so I have it replaced, gumastos ako ng almost 4k, after installing it, nag test drive ako, andun pa din...so check ulit nila, sabi nila kung brand new daw ba suspension ko sa harap, i told them na surplus lang pero maayos naman at 3 months palang, sabi nila, sira yan, dapat brand new ipalit mo, dyan nangagaling ang sira. so disappointed na ko since dun pala sira, bakit pinapalitan nila strut mount. So i told them ibabalik ko nalang. Then I tried cruven sa crame, after checking and test drive, nakita agad nila na bushing lang pala sa strut arm. Nag fabricate sila then after installing, nawala yung tunog for 400 pesos only. The only problem is wala talaga silang wheel alignment, dahil alam ko pag ginalaw nila mga suspension, mawawala talaga sa alignment ang gulong kaya tinanong ko na agad sila, manual lang daw sila mag align so i took it to rapide for alignment. Now, i'm hearing noises again specially sa cement road, i don't know kung dashboard o suspension. one thing I noticed, bakit pag umuulan, parang nawawala yung kalampag.

If you want suspension "kalampag" to go away, buy brand new spareparts. The amount of time, money, hassle, etc, that took you to buy surplus spareparts, bring the car to the shop, then bring it back again for a back job, etc, etc, when summed up would be more expensive than buying brand new and fixing it right the first time.

    my 2 cents worth.

I went to cruven crame a few months back to get my 93 civic's suspension serviced. Ok naman no problems whatsoever. Would go back again if needed.

For what car? Stabilizer bushings (most are made of rubber) are replaced not rebuilt.

I had my ilalim repaired by wheelers last week. And they did a very good job! They're honest peeps and tell you kung ok pa o hindi na, kung replace or repair. *clapclap*

Kaso may problema ako... walang avalaible na bushings for my upper suspension arms, as in naghanap yung parts guy nila sa bong banawe! I called el dorado and wala rin sila bushings, buong assembly lang daw where the OEM costs a whopping 7.8k and replacement for 1.4k.

So ngayon, what wheelers did is just do a quick fix for the worn out bushings muna. Sapi ata tawag nila dun. But then temporary fix nga lang daw. And i'll have to replace the bushings soon. The thing is maayos pa mga suspension arms ko kaya nanghihinayang ako magpalit.

Right now I'm thinking of bringing it to cruven fairvew since it's less than a kilometer away lang yun samin. And just have a poly bushing fabricated nalang. Sabi nila the ride will be a little stiffer, but then kesa naman buong assembly naman bilhin ko.
