Pinaka maganda ang serbisyo ng cruven. Lately nagpagawa ako sa Cruven Mariwasa-Pasig Branch. Kabubukas lang nila last last July 2009.

Because of their new technology.

i talked to the owner of zee who was toti, and he mentioned na sila ang original ng technology of shocks rebuilding. magkapatid pala sila ng owner ng cruven. pero same exact way lang sila ng shocks rebuilding at injected/turok ng mga pang ilalim na parts.

But I don't think na its the same process sila.

I also send my car to cruven mariwasa pasig, have an unusual sound coming
from front passenger tire side. Kala ko nga gastos ako malaki but since I dont know much about cars I have no choice but to put my faith with Cruven.
To surprise it was just a lube problem on my brake master assy. And it did not
even cost a lot.... The crew and staff of CRUVEN MARIWASA PASIG are all honest and very kind.... Salute to Cruven Mariwasa Pasig TY!!!!

tried both shops. dati madalas cruven ako dahil mas malapit. pero ngayon, balik zee ako. parang mas ok service at better price. pwde pa humingi discount hehe.

i got the feeling na ang cruven kasi parang rapide na. dami nila quote na di kailangan. lalo na yung fairview branch! parang quick money habol. very differemt from how they started abt 10yrs ago. atleast sa zee, consistent sa quality. imho lang

i never liked cruven. especially the one at sucat. overpriced and not so accomodating ang staffs. wala man lang silang digital wheel balancing equipment(they only use the old skul method of strings) and they charge higher than shops using the digital one.

Share ko lang experience ko mga bros...

I recently was canvassing for a cheaper way to repair my steering system.
I called up zee and cruven to look into their technology. Based on pricing, mas mura ang zee. P300/balljoint compared to P450 ni cruven. I was informed na magkakapatid lang daw ang may ari niyan so the technology must be the same. Anyways, since I live in "Farview", I chose cruven fairview nalang since malapit. Take note, personally kong chineck to AT pina check ko na before sa mechanic ko so technically, alam ko na mga sira neto. When I went to Cruven, inasikaso kagad ako(wala na kasi ibang nagpapagawa). When they lifted my rig, bigla dumami ang sira! Parang halos lahat "pala" dapat ko ipa repair. Anyway, I expected this naman and really can't blame them since "business is business"...I went back 2 days later(wala na kasi oras before) to have it done pero sabi ko, yung pitman arm lang at isang ball joint sa centerlink ipapagawa ko. Medyo na dismaya yung manager nila kasi he was expecting siguro na marami ako ipapagawa.
He kept telling me na ipagawa ko nadin yung tie rod. I declined since I told him na papalitan ko nalang ng bago since hindi naman ganun ka mahal yun. Sabi nya and I quote: "Pag pina recondition mo samin yan, halos brand-new na din yan...mas bago pa!"...May ganun ba? mas bago pa sa brand new?!?

At sa nakita kong ginawa dun - which is konting welding, torno at kikil lang - luging lugi nako dun.)

At eto pa, siningil nila ako ng DOUBLE the labor quoted!

Oh ano say niyo?!? I refused to pay so we haggled until P2,850(by this time, pumayag nako kasi napagod nako - kahit alam ko na malayo parin siya sa orig na quote)

So, to sum up my PERSONAL evaluation, eto na lahat.

TECHNOLOGY - maganda ang tech nila. I felt that after this repair/hold up...mas humigpit talaga mga linkage ko.

Sa sama ng loob ko, I could not help myself to drive off the moment natapos na auto ko.

PRICE - Isa lang masasabi ko...EXTORTION. If ever I knew na ganito din pala gagastusin ko, sa Zee nalang sana ako nagpa gawa. Mas marami pa siguro napa ayos ko.

VERDICT - Since the technology is good, I highly recommend to other people to utilize the said tech which can greatly improve the current state of their suspensions...HOWEVER, I will not recommend the said shop simply because of their work ethics...Next time, sa iba nalang ako pupunta.

thank you for this feedback sir. tiga sucat din ako and nakikita ko yung cruven, heard from many people na magaling daw nga ang cruven at much cheaper price without sacrificing quality.

i was experiencing noise from the steering column and some "lata" sounds when travelling over uneven roads. so i brought my 2005 ford escape 2.3L to cruven crame for diagnosis. they lifted the car and began checking the parts underneath. via visual and tactile inspection they identified a few parts here and there - thankfully mostly mga bushing lang and they said they can fabricate a replacement. so i agreed and went the next day * 7.30 am to get it done.

when they finished disassembling my front suspension. i saw the original lower arm big bushing (may crack at manipis na) and the fabricated one (looks solid and long-lasting).

they also saw that my rack end needs replacement. for that i opted for them to be injected (a risk for me at the time).

sinabi din nila na part of the front suspension fixes and to fix un noise coming from the steering wheel is ung pag-adjust the rack & pinion.

all the while, honestly, i was being doubtful and skeptical. but all that went away at 3 pm where we test drove the vehicle. nawala un mga noise, the suspension is back the way it was 6-8 years ago and even the steering wheel 'play' is gone!

the only problem i experienced after was that the steering wheel was off-center. so i went back to get it done. unfortunately, there was a slight problem i'm not inclined to talk about now but mr. claro has been very accommodating and responsible for what happened (moral of the story: leave the steering wheel area where the airbag is alone ).

overall, i highly recommend the shop for suspension issues or at least a visit and a free diagnosis/estimate. but if you can bring a friend who knows a thing or two, the better

The proper way to center a factory-installed steering wheel is to align the front tires while the steering wheel and steering rack are locked at dead center (using a tool to hold the steering wheel level and centered). Centering the steering wheel is carried out by adjusting the tie rods... not by unscrewing the steering wheel from the steering column. Only inexperienced and lazy mechanics does the latter.

mr. claro said the same. oh well, a lesson learned the hard way and it's more of the former. if i had known this information before, i wouldn't have asked if it can be done via the steering wheel. my steering wheel is now centered. without the hiccup, i would have been 110% happy.

i was a former loyal customer of cruven sucat. dahil they did a good job dun sa lancer ko.
pero dun sa sentra ko, ang dami nilang sablay... first, they did a faulty job dun sa brake pads ko... mali ang nilagay. pangalawa, when they did a replacement of my front rack ends and rods, hindi nila ina-align. pangatlo, when they replaced my cv joint, after a day, napunit yung cv boot. not to mention na mahal na nga sila, medyo di ko na din gusto ang quality ng trabaho nila.

that is why, natuto na din ako... now, i am always having my suspension fixed sa servitek alabang. ok lang na mahal, at least quality ang trabaho.
