Hi folks. Just want to know what will happen if I change my car's tires from a 185/65 R14 to a 185/70 R14? How will it affect the speedometer reading? Thanks. :D

It will read a wee bit faster. But not so much that you'd take notice.

Your 185/65R14 has 596mm overall diameter and 1,871.75mm circumference while 185/70R14 has 614mm OD and 1,929.84mm circumference. A difference of 3.10% from its original size not much significant factor.

Which of the three is better for the size 185-65-R14? Im planning to replace my existing tires.

    1. Goodyear NCT3 - 1900 pesos each
    2. Dunlop LM702 - 1950 pesos each
    3. Bridgestone GR-50 - 2100 pesos each

    Thanks.

hytan::: Here are some of the tire reports tsikoteers have used that may help you decide what brand to choose:

    - Tire Price, Specs & performance

    - Automotive Tires

So kunyari po ang speed ko is 100 kph using my stock 185/65 R14, ilan po kaya ang sasabihin ng speedometer pag 185/70 R14 na? Baka po kasi mahuli ako sa mga may speed limit na daan. TY.

try this, use the metric reading para in kph.
100 kph reading would actually be 103.1 kph.

hytan, I'd get the bridgestone. Don't have experience w/ dunlop. I've changed to turanzas and potenzas, ok bridgestone for me.
Yung NCT3, yan yung maingay d ba?
