i would like to share an experience regarding tires, my bro used to drive a strada he bought second he didnt change the tires hence it still looks good, he drive at 100 suddenly the front tires exploded and it goes on rampage dump on a cliff buti nalang it was only a 2 meter high, luckily my bro had only a bruise in his forehead, but the strada if you can see it youl never expect the driver is still alive....bottom line dont gamble a few thousand for a life....buy a new reliable tires

A lot of accidents on the expressway are also caused by blown tires. We've seen a recent accident on SCTEX posted on the forums a few months ago, Exped with blown tires.

On the question of winter tires, best basis is the model of the tire although if you are familiar with tires, the thread pattern can be a giveaway as well. There's also a rating for snow or something on the sidewall i think.

What about buying used mags only no tires? I looked at their sulit site and saw some good looking mags. Pls share how to choose used mags. I have no idea on what to look for aside from scratches and physical damage.

^No problem with used rims as long as you can see that the physical condition is good.
