how long ang uselful life ng brake pads? for replacement b sya every 10,000 kms?

I think depende iyan sa paggamit mo. And of course sa material ng pad. My front ones lasted 8.5yrs and 155k miles bago ko pinalitan. My rear brakes are still orig.

Kapag automatic kotse, mas mabilis mapudpod dahil palgi go ang kotse and preno ka palagi kahit stop.

I vaporized a set of Besta brake pads in about a year's time.

some factors:
- car weight
- m/t or a/t (a/t eats up brakes faster)
- driving style
- road conditions (highway, city, mountain, etc)
- brake pads used

My pick-up's brakes are still pretty thick after 33000km and 2.5 years down the road.

I use up my Bendix MetalMaster brake pads in about 7000km to 10,000km. Car: Corolla Gli A/T

The factory pads of our 5 year old Trooper at 125k kms still runs good.

kahit a/t pg di ka abuso sa car mo tatagal yan. my toyota supra before 105k miles before i sold it hindi napalitan ng brake pads. if you coast to a stop by letting go of the accelerator long before you get close to where you are stopping then tatagal yan.

my present lancer 18k km na sya wala pa bawas ang pads, same thickness pa rin as original.

baka handbrake gamit mo to stop kaya walang ubos yung brake pads? :D

handbrake e di brake pads din yun.

di po, in fact may baon akong anchor connected to a long rope, tapos naka-tali sa rear bumper. pag stop ako tapon ko yun sa labas.
