Kayanin kaya ng Starex ang Subic Raceway or Batangas RC? hehehe!
On my old 626, when Makati Autocenter pulled out, I had to resort to replacement brake pads. I think I tried Bendix and another Japanese brand. For about P600 ata then, I got a bit less stopping power than OEM, for a helluva lot lower price.
On my current Camry, when I replaced the brake pads, I think almost a year ago, I was debating whether or not to go the replacement route. That sort of lack of bite, and perhaps a bit more harsh pad surface bothered me. Anyhow, I stuck with OEM coz there weren't enough replacement parts yet. R-Spec didn't have brake pads for my ride at the time. Eventually, I think I'll go with replacements, after my pads give out. I hope they're not too harsh on the rotors.

hey fellow tsikoters. ayan i found a thread bout the brake pads.
nagpa service ako ng car (casa) and i was advised na kelangan na palitan yan brake pads ko it would only last another 5k kms (and another 5k and im gonna have to bring the car back sa casa). and its going to cost me another 15k (it includes na the labor)
so im looking into other options like after market pads. ano maganda and ok na brake pads for an american car(suburban). i dont think im willing to spend another 15k after spending a whole lot din for the regular thingie... help san kaya din meron ako mabibilhan?
merci d'avance!

Sa Thunder Automotive po merong piyesa ng Suburban. They used to have only OEM but I think they've gone into replacements na din.
Thunder is in Binondo and Quezon Avenue.
Bendix should have one that fits your rig. Problem is most stores don't stock 'em. You can do it 'as-per-sample'. Something is bound to fit. Hindi naman exclusive ang design ng brake pads.

3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
What's the best car tint brand and color?
