full na inbox mo bro pero surprising nga iyong mga pangyayari
anyhow, ako i stick w/ project mu. malakas ang kagat and very minimal ang brake dust.
ika nga ni ramon bautista, "jdm numba 1!"
ang problema, hindi ko alam kung ok na uli sila autoplus sportzentrium after the fire that razed their shop last year. hindi ko napapansin pag napapadaan ako sa edsa if ever man mapadaan ako ng edsa.
Sorry bro. Ayan nagbura na ako. Literally nalaglag pa nga ako sa upuan sa gulat.![]()
Ganda din ng reviews ng Project MU. As for Akebono, the only experience I've had was the OEM in my D40 Navara. Little to no brake dust, progressive feel and great stopping power. Tried EBC Greenstuff and thought it was an upgrade but they were noisier, dustier and felt like it had a little less stopping power.
Akebono is an OEM supplier for all the japanese car manufacturer, even for honda that also use a nissin pads in some of its model and toyota that currently uses Advics brand. Akebono also supply brake pads to Ford and GM. To become a brake pads supplier for a car manufacturer, it must pass several test for quality and safety standard. Meaning Akebono have the best quality brake pads.
That's nasty
I knew they were good but I didn't think they'd be better than EBC. EBC claims their Greenstuff is better than OEM. Maybe they're talking about another OEM supplier. Maybe EBC's Yellowstuff would do better vs the OE Akebonos but those pads are a lot more expensive.
There aren't many who've PMU'd. That's an archived pic. Initially it was cast an anomaly...but repeated use & inspection on a bud's found it wasn't. This was about 5years ago. Bad batch? I hope. Corrected? I sure hope so. Just check upon every PMS. PMUs are generally bang4buck/bite.
EBC in the early 2000s also had bad batches where pads sheared. I had 1st hand failure on Greens way back(archived pic of my rear green below, half sheared off). Retried them lately, so far, they've been w/o problems. Keeping an eye on them. Reds bite better & cleaner.

Who couldn’t complain? I bought my Project Mu front pads for the FXT at Autoplus for only 2700. That’s way cheaper than what you will pay for at the casa.
