Is it advisable to use imported brake fluids such as Bendix or Mag1? compared to local brands like National or Super Brake perhaps? Ano ba advantage of using imported brands mas tumatagal ba? TIA.

imported or locally(?) produced, they still have to be changed every two years or anytime moisture contamination happens. as long as the minimum wet boiling temperature do not go below 254 degrees fahrenheit at sea level up to 1000 feet above sea level.

Ang tatak is Johnsen's. Ok lang kaya yun?

Sir beni, afaik ung Dot4 mas mataas ang temperature rating niya compared to Dot3. If Dot4 gamitin sa Dot3 I think it should be no problem wag lang Dot3 gagamitin sa Dot4 only.

Use brake fluid that is recommended by vehicle manufacturers. Do not mix brake fluid with different DOT ratings, unless in an emergency situation, example: Nawalan ka ng preno sa Tagaytay, your car needs DOT 4 brake fluid, pero DOT 3 lang available. You can use DOT 3, if just to drive your car home. Then bleed and replace with approved/correct brake fluid.

Is that true?

That's up to you. If it were me, balik ako sa DOT3. There are certain brake components that are designed to match certain types of brake fluids (brake seals, cups, glands). Hence the compatibility issue. I would not risk using a wrongly rated brake fluid and suffer brake failure because of it. Please take note that this is a safety issue as well.

Charge to experience mo nalang yung sabi ng mechanico.
