Brake! bigla kumapit, ayaw na umabante...

Mga Paps,

Help naman po, yun car ko kasi bigla kumapit yun front break at ayaw na umabante.

Malapit nako sa parking lot ng mapansin ko pigil ang andar ng car, pag-apak ko sa preno, sagad yun pedal at para di kumapit yun break.

Pag-abante ko, ramdam na ramdam yun kapit ng front break. Ano po ba ang possible sira at ano ang pede gawin?

Hi Rolee! You will need to dismantle the front wheels and examine each brake component to locate the culprit...you might do this later on when you bleed the system anyway. brakes fail due to a lot of reasons but the most common are (based on the symptoms you described)
leak or damage to the hydraulic system
faulty master cylinder
broken pedal linkages

I checked the Brake fluid reservoir and wala naman bawas.

Thanks sa replies mga paps. Medyo madugo pala ito kaya dapat humingi ng tulong sa mga experts...

Hi Mr. rolee, Mangdencio is right there is something wrong with your hydraulic system kaya naninikit ang brake mo at amoy sunog, when that happens again at nsa alanganin lugar ka, para mai takbo mo, i bleed mo lang at mag luluwag yan, then go to your trusted autoshop para ma ayos ang problema

possible yung piston sa loob ng calipers kinalawang na dahil may tagas yung oilseal nya, so nung pagapak mo ng break umipit na yung piston. pa tow mo na lang to your nearest suking mekaniko

Actually, di ko na naiuwi yun car sa haus. Iniwan ko na sa office dahil ayaw na umabante. Mamaya titingnan ng mekaniko kung ano ang problema. Sinilip ko na rin at wala ako nakita leak kaya sa tingin ko is yun master nga ang may problema. Plus yun pads (front & rear) ko is sobrang nipis na pala.

Tama yung desisyon mo bro na di na iuwi or paandarin yung ride mo

Kesa kung ano pang problems ma-encounter mo along da way at saka malamang dadami pa sira if ever...

Hayaan mo yung trusted mechanic mo ang tumingin. Sana ma-resolve yung brakes mo!
