n low profile tires 35, 40, 45 series will cause early suspension problems if daily driven lalo na rough roads. dats y i dont use mine everyday.

April 14th, 2005 03:53 PM #17maybe it was a miscalculation, bigger tires would have to rotate "more" to give one full complete round for the computer to count it.
Maybe you pressed less on the gas?

Guys, buhayin ko lang itong thread na ito... i recently changed tire size...from the stock 205/r16 to 235/70/r16 goodyear forterra. Is this too wide, or too much leap from oems specs? Im asking because steering feels a little sticky and heavier at medyo humina rin ang hatak...btw, my ride is an isuzu pickup. Would really appreciate feedback especially dun sa mga naka fuego with same or wider tires. thanks!

It is normal for the steering to become heavier with wider tires. Also wider tires means increased rolling resistance.
What results will be increase stress to your steering assembly expecially your hydraulics and linkages (example: balljoints). An increase in fuel comsumption will be expected. If the new wheels are not installed with the correct off-set, your suspension's balljoints might experience premature wear & tear too.

thanks ghosthunter...but would adjusting the offset necessary with the new tires, considering i used a 205r16 before? i got mine from jaymar, they just balanced the 2 front wheels and then mounted it. ok na ba yon? steering seems to be ok (aside from the fact that its a little heavier).
see my pahabol statement above. i mean, i can go on vacation anytime. but my spouse has her...
