The ABS light of my Sportage turned on last Saturday & today, I brought it to Bridgestone Alabang. Tech cleaned the sensors & scanned, no fault codes detected but the light is still on. What could be the problem? I read somewhere I can try to disconnect the battery to reset the computer. How long will I keep it disconnected?

A solid ABS light can mean a lot of things... it can mean low brake fluid level, faulty ABS sensor, or a faulty ABS module.

Check you user manual first. It may have slightly different meanings with different cars.

It could be the brake light switch.

Sa Kia forums, to reset the abs light, unplug the positive battery cable then hold down the brakes until the electricity is drained from the ecu. Reattach the positive terminal & the light should be gone. Still thinking if I should try it.
