To complete the thought I started earlier, dahil nga yung T car brand is ubiquitous, halos kahit hanggang probinsya may marunong gumawa (for the non-DIY'ers).

So dahil maraming pyesa + maraming marunong gumawa, relatively speaking, yan ang main reason patok sa maraming tao yung brand.

But as cars are becoming more computer-controlled and transitioning to EVs and/or hybrid systems, bumabalik na ulit sa casa yung expertise. But for the classic ICE cars, you can still find a suitable mechanic at every corner, in a manner of speaking. Not implying that all of them are good mechanics, though.... but in a pinch, meron kang matatakbuhan.

Yes. Ako rin personally worried once na puro hybrid o ev na ang mag-takeover sa market. Complicated silang ayusin once madale sa baha. Unlike kung ICE may pag-asa pa kahit papano.

As for toyota, totoo naman yan. Pero mas ramdam talaga if gamitin sila as daily workhorse vehicle. Although yung iba mas prefer ibang brand kasi feel nila usually mas may character or dating, lalo kung seldom lang pinaaandar at nilalabas.

WTF. Bakit ang pinapa palitan ng speedy fix Wheel hub bearing rear left and it costs P22k! labor P1800.

So I spoke to the owner of Speedyfix and he is such a nice guy! He said don't replace na because P25k is almost 1/4 the price of the car hahaha! He said it's just the sensor lang naman. Never pa daw nila nagawa magpalit ng sensor lang, buo ang gawa nila. Although I feel OC na may nakailaw

The fault is on the hub bearing assembly where the rear LH sensor terminal plugs into? Cleaning did not solve it? Hmmmm...kinda unToyota-like. Usually, the bearing goes 1st on those assemblies than the ABS sensor

Rear sensor is part of the hub bearing assembly. Change that when the bearing finally goes. If that's the only fault, car is usable.

Thanks. I called Toyorama and they have Wheel hub bearing for P12k but I will take your advise to wait until that needs replacement. But how do I know?
