May 2nd, 2012 12:57 AM #1the 2nd-hand wrx i'm about to buy has a scratch on the tint of the rear windshield. from the outside, it looks like there's a fully transparent 1" diameter hole in the middle. so i'd like to have it replaced without damaging the defoggers.
any recommendations on shops that can replace it safely? i'm planning on replacing it with vkool tints. i'm from alabang, btw, so the closer the shop, the better sana.
also, are there still different types of vkool tints or is there just one? if there are more than 1, what's the recommended one for a world rally blue wrx hatchback? (and yung hindi nakaka-affect sa e-pass sana)
thanks in advance!

May 2nd, 2012 10:05 AM #2i had tints removed from our cars by solar gard alabang. they are located at the motor town at ATC. one is a 1 year old tint and the other is about a decade old. both with window defoggers. what they did was, they tried to peel off one corner first then gauge if it can be done safely.
i cannot comment on your question about v-kool, no experience with them.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
