    You've got a 2.0 Impreza right? That's not bad!

A bit worse than the last time.. Grabe kasi Makati traffic.

Mandaluyong to Tagaytay and back. 80% clear highway and 20% medium to heavy traffic.

    11.11 km / liter.

^I averaged 10 km/l driving from one end of C-5 to the other today (Sunday). Green and go mostly. I'm sure in 2 days or so, when I'm back to the daily grind, it's gonna be the usual 6-7km/l again. Savoring this moment though

That's the FC I'm getting on weekdays as well. Wish it could be 10-11 km/liter everyday LOL

I'm now down to 8km/l (after only 2 days of traffic). Darn.

    2012 Subaru Forester 2.0

    70% City, 30% highway driving

per onboard trip computer (Trip B): 14 liters/100kms or 7.14
per onboard trip computer (Trip A): 12.2 liters/100kms or 8.19
per manual computation: 321.13 kms/39.99 liters or 8.03

Much improved because of the 30% mileage spent at SLEX.

    Mandaluyong to San Carlos, Pangasinan:

    11.90 km per liter.

That's mostly highways, national roads, and 10% heavy traffic. Some gunnit moments on the national roads to overtake slow moving vehicles

100% City driving, though I changed routes (farther, but less stop and go traffic)

per onboard trip computer (Trip B): 13.4 liters/100kms or 7.46
per onboard trip computer (Trip A): 13 liters/100kms or 7.69
per manual computation: 310.9 kms/41.2 liters or 7.54

I might just reach my goal of 8km/l one of these days

Wow! That's Vios level already. For a 2.0, that's something.

Kahit na may discrepancy of 1km/L kasi MID-based, ok pa rin!

Yes We're really pleased with it. Not the fastest really, but good (and economical) enough for the city.

This is with a really light foot though. The only time I reach 2,000rpm is when I come from a halt but otherwise, rpm is always below 2,000 and there's enough power to get to 60km/h without much effort.

Looks to good to be true.

Computing manually would benefit you (as you'd know the actual consumption of your car) as well as other forumers who might be on the market for an Impreza.

If the Impreza is as efficient as its MID says, then yay. If it isn't, well, at least you know the truth.

I have my reservations with a driving style like this. From my experience, going with the lowest rpm possible doesn't translate to the best mileage figures. Of course, your mileage may vary (literally in this case), especially with a CVT.
