Curious lang ako.. bakit impreza and not the forrester since galing ka sa CRV??

Wala akong kabalak balak dyan sa Subaru...

Gusto ko talaga dati, pick up, para mataas. Kaso di pala kasya sa garahe namin.

Then SUV na uli, tapos di ko type bagong CR-V, kapiraso lang yung makina. Test drove others, di nagustuhan. Again, walang Subaru sa isip ko.

Then bigla ko naisip na mag kotse uli, so Ford Focus, Genesis Coupe and finally Impreza na consider ko. Didn't like the Focus. GenCoupe bawal ang test drive. Pag dating ko ng MI, met Mel, ibang treatment natanggap ko. Diretso test drive, fell in love with the car.

No bad experience with Caltex Gold. It's just that V-Power is better. For the price, it should.

Had Mel been the one who "welcomed" me at MI, I may have gotten the FXT likewise. Pero hindi siya. So, end of story rin ako sa Subaru.

been asking 'round this forum: tucson vs cx7 vs santa fe. But now I'm considering the Forester :D. So yeah, better just ask the experts than be hounded by Hyundai fanboys (i meant that in the lightest way possible).

Read a few pages back and found out na may new release ang Forester this '011. So, is it advisable to get one now? Thanks

nope, a/t only for all 2009 and up forester every where. m/t was offered to previous forester models. you can always do a 6speed swap though if you have the money for it.

replacing the A/T transmission of the XT with a 6 speed manual transmission from an STi to make your XT an M/T. or you could you the 5 speed transmission of the WRX which is cheaper.

a lot of people from other countries has done it already, here i'm not sure how many. there are a couple of people who did this and fusion r at e.rod can do it for you.

I'm new here, just got my 2010 forester 2.0x last saturday. Question lang po, what is the average FC you're getting when you first had your forester, been driving it for just 5 days in city/highway. parang nakaka average ako ng 7kpl pero di naman ganun ka traffic sa dinadaanan ko since sa balintawak lang ang office ko and nlex na yung route ko hanggang house (meycauayan, bulacan). Is it true that it may get better after my first PMS? sa mga naka 2.0 na tulad sa akin, sana you could share your experience in regards with this. thanks

congrats on the purchase, i also have a 2.0 forester. i get 5-8km/liter mixed city and high way didn't really notice any fc change after the break in period.
