    question for those who find the 2.0x underpowered:
    Does the drop in upgrades (such as air filter exhaust etc) make a big difference in performance for the 2.0x? Does these affect the gas consumption of the vehicle? I'm going to use it primarily for city driving/everyday use and occasional nearby out of towns w/ the family. Is it worth the upgrade? The XT is out of the question mainly because of its 500k price difference. And I don't think I'll ever be needing such power when I'm usually driving w/ my wife and kid.
    Just for reference, I drive the previous Tucson Crdi (4x2) and I have no complains wih regards to performance.

    gas consumption will make a difference since your previous ride is a diesel (CRDI)

    air filter + exhaust combo would add a bit of hp but not that much since it's an NA engine, but the engine would respond a lot better when you step on the gas with those mods. regarding the gas, even if the 2.0 isn't a turbo fc is still bad since it's an AWD. tucson would be faster on the straights but i guarantee you the tucson won't handle as good as the forester.

    Thanks guys for the reply. Actually i'm more concern on the effects of the upgrades. How big in terms of HP kaya ang dagdag ng drop in upgrades? Lalakas ba consumption because of the upgrades? I'm not comparing tucson and the 2.0x, definitely the forester will consume more because of the AWD and it being gas. Though, based on my experience w/ my tucson, I doubt it would be a big difference. My tucson goes 7-8km/lit. Yun nga lang mas mura ang deisel.

    same lang pala fc, i also get 6-8km/liter. filter+exhaust combo would give you about 10-15 additional hp. syempre medyo lalakas sa gas but not that much naman.

    drop in filter 4-6k lang ata, 20k yung cold air intake na yon. full exhaust is 30-50k for the good ones.

    unichip/ecutek will void your warranty, if you really want one i suggest ecutek instead of unichip.

    I gues air filter and cold air intake will do for me. I installed full exhaust sa explorer pickup ko before and didn't like the loud sound too much.

    If ecutek and unichip will void the warranty, I wouldnt go to that path either.
