really? pwedeng mag-order ng forester sti diyan? kakainggit naman kayo, you already have a better version of the XT (is that tiptronic i see?), now possibly an sti?Originally Posted by yuichi
you can upgrade a WRX or an XT into an sti-like vehicle, but it will never be an sti, plus sayang din yung warranty. so if you can get a hold of an actual wrx/forester sti, i'd go that route.
pangit talaga nung tail lights nung impreza wrx, kahit san mo tingnan...
any news on how much the sti version gonna cost?
laser: will post the price of the STi once I get it but my speculation would be about P2.2-2.3M w/o insurance.
How much is the Evo IX MR from Mitsu?

carlo,
any idea if the impreza has a 6 speed tranny?(sorry found out it was 5 M/T) and if the wing spoiler is standard?
thanks!
anu ba pinagkaiba nung wrx sti spec c sa plain na sti? madami ba spec yun? parang MR/FQ ba yun ng evo ix?

The STI Spec C is around 70kg(154lbs) lighter than the regular STI, here are some of its features: it has an aluminium trunk lid, lighter glass, a thinner roof panel, re-tuned suspension, different engine mounts and has extra reinforcing braces making it more rigid.

Whats the difference between the STI and WRX? Aside from the hp rating?

1.6 m for a 230hp car isn't too good to be true... it's just about right. Consider, also at 1.6 m, you can get a V6 Accord with almost as much power but much more space and more features.
To my mind:
Subaru Impreza: 1m (CBU kasi)
+ 2.5 Engine: 200k
+ Turbo: 200k
+ AWD: 200K
I think the price is just about right, and it'll pull a lot of affluent young buyers who just couldn't bring themselves to get an EVO. Now if only the Ford Focus ST would come in under 2m.
Think of it as the introduction to the WRX, but not quite the supercar killer the WRX STi and EVO are. An added bonus is that it probably isn't as harsh riding as either of the two, either.
As for upgrading, it's probably better to just get an STi. STi power isn't quite as simple as just swapping turbos. There was an article on a 2.5 owner who ugraded to STi power and suspension... and he spent a heck of a lot of money.
Carlo: Is the Legacy 2.0 only? Sana ginawang 2.5 nalang... no doubt it'd be a guzzler with AWD and a big body with such a small engine.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
