Tingin ko mas bebenta yong OUTBACK and FORESTER. Sana ilabas nila yong latest version ng 2.5 cc (175 hp for outback 173 for Forester, 30 mpg , partial zero emission = the most powerful 4 cylinder with partial zero emission for now.)So i guess cancel muna ang plan to buy a new a car for this coming uwian.

Since they don't sell Front wheel drive Legacies, I doubt they could sell it for less than 2 million. (Taxes and duties on AWD vehicles... plus the Legacy is a bit more expensive in the first pace).

yeah 1.0M for the legacy or even 1.3M seems pretty much out of the question. lahat naman ng subaru are AWD eh. plus the small market..

Forester 2.5 (XT) - the ultimate sleeper...2nd quickest SUV in the US market, only the Porsche Cayenne Turbo is faster, for now.
Legacy 2.0 - too bad they're not bringing the GT.

actually, tatlong klase ang Imprezza. there's the non-turbo Imprezza (1.6, 2.0, 2.5 sedan or wagon), the Imprezza WRX (2.0, 2.5 turbo sedan and wagon), then the Imprezza WRX STi (2.5 sedan with a much bigger turbo than the WRX, plus better suspension, brembo brakes, BBS wheels, and that ginormous spoiler/wing ). RP is getting the WRX 2.5 Turbo sedan, which has the same engine and chassis as the Forester XT, so you'll have a choice between a fire-breathing sedan or SUV.

STi has 6-spd
STi has DCCD
STi has brembro
STi has BBS wheels
STi seats and accolades
STi hood scoop
STi stiffer suspension

pero tama ang terminology mo. kapag sinabi mong non-turbo impreza, medyo redendant. Dahil ang Impreza, understood na non-turbo. Impreza WRX, understood nang may turbo. WRX STi, understood nang 6-spd and 300hp 300ft-lb.

USDM Impreza variants has 2.5l across the board from 173hp 2.5i to 230hp WRX to 300hp WRX STi

get one, and you'll be quicker and faster than most cars on the road. not bad for a so-called mommymobile. medyo mas mabagal yung '06 Forester XT due to less aggressive gearing (for better mileage daw), pero nasa high 5's pa rin ang 0-60, which is still plenty fast.
