kahapon sa edsa, hinahataw ang isang white na forester (no plates)... nakatabi nya ang isang escape, and at a distance, mataas ang escape.

nag U-turn ang forester sa camp aguinaldo... test drive kaya yon?

I think pang RHD lang ang Forester STI diba kaya i convert mo nalang yung Forester XT 2.5 Turbo mo at bili ka nalang ng STI kit which is a better idea.grabe ilalabas din pala dito yung Legacy 3.0 liter,Legacy Station Wagon at Impreza WRX STI this year sabi sa newspaper ngayon.Grabe yung Impreza WRX dito pang STI ang rear spoiler at saka parang ang Legacy 2.0 AWD pinaka boring sa lineup(mag Mazda6 2.3 nalang kayo)

There is something to be said about NA, namely no turbo lag. The issue I see with the Accord is that it is FWD not AWD like the Impreza. FWD isnt really ideal if you've reached the mid-200bhp levels cause of torque steer. Impreza also sports a harder suspension when compared to the Accord. Accords are luxury vehicles while Impreza are performance cars.

I did a bit of research and here is what i came up with

-2008 may change the impreza to a hatchback
    http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/66...ti_chaser.html

    - Along with the Sedona the Impreza gets top safety marks
    http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll...306/1148/rss25

    - Impreza is one of Cars.com and DriversEd.com Top New Cars for Teens
    http://prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/storie...,%2011:21%20AM

    - Consumer Reports' 2006 "Fun to drive"
    http://money.cnn.com/popups/2006/aut...n.exclude.html

    - Consumer Report puts Subaru on the 5th most reliable car makers. (Asian brands get 12-15 problems per 100)
    http://www.cnn.com/2006/AUTOS/carrev...ity/index.html
    http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...iability_x.htm

Are the prices of cars sold in the Philippines inclusive of taxes & duties? If that's the case MURA ang Subaru dito. Not to mention that the manufacturer's suggested retail price in the US is often ignored by the dealers who jack it up.

As an everyday car I think the WRX is a good choice. It wont eat as much gas as an STi.

    niky,

last i checked the accord wasnt 1.6m? it was pushing the 1.7m limit
and a standard turbo model is much simpler to extract extra HP from(using aftermarket items). the +10HP of the accord is mated to an old A/T(no tiptronic no CVT) and the power to weight ratio is probably lower and there's also the factor of AWD.

what features does the accord have? are u talking about the moonroof? leather/power seats? other than that i dont think it has any special features?

i just dont think the impreza is in the same market as the 3.0 accord.

Totally.....accord is a family sedan , impreza wrx is a four door all around AWD race bred sedan that get you from point A to point B in a snap. Accord is a very comfortable car, impreza isn't but will make you grin all the time

What I meant by my statement was: If you consider it from what you're getting for the money, the Impreza WRX isn't cheap, it's just right... and all the other performance cars are overpriced. The Impreza's interior points at where they skimped in order to bring the price down to such low levels. Plus, Subaru is looking at expanding its share in the market, and the number of shared components with other Subies means that they don't have to charge a premium (like Nissan does with the Z and Murano) because they're supporting a tiny number of cars with expensive maintenance equipment specifically for those models only.

Under our previous taxation system, it would've cost much more, for sure.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

actually nakapagpareserve na ko through my sis, pero dadalawang isip ako kasi medyo maliit at 5-seater lang.pero alang problem sa ride, power at handling gusto ko yung may optional 7-seater sna....like the tribeca. pero baka around march pa daw available. yoko nman ng fortuner. paguwi at kung talagang no other choices, fxt pa rin.

....sino nga pala yung "tsikoteer" na di makatulog?

AT yung Forester. It doesnt accelerate quickly but for city driving the power is OK I guess. I read somewhere that it has adequate oomph for highway driving too. For the price, I would say that it is a good deal
