Last week ko lang napansin on my 08 wagon na parang ang tagal lumamig ng cabin pagnabilad sa araw. the black dash and leather seats tapos wagon pa sya really doesnt help the a/c keeping the cabin sufficienty cool during the hot summer months. Decided to pass by denso kalookan yesterday and sabi doon ok naman daw lahat pati karga ng freon medyo nag high pressure lang daw. they jet sprayed my condenser. ok naman na a/c nun pauwi na pero parang bitin pa din yun lamig. ang bagsak ko this morning sa suking aircon shop ko sa pao st. since 5 years na low mileage yun legacy ko pinapalitan ko na yun freon since nagleleak pala talaga freon over time kahit sealed yun a/c system. pina vacuum and refill. Observe daw muna. If mawala ulit lamig in around six months or less may leak na malamang na sana wala hehe. Weak point pala ng suabru is yun a/c. last year when i had my mitsu service sa suking a/c shop di pa sila gumagawa ng subaru dun pero nun nagpunta ko kanina nakagawa na daw sila ng isang legacy and a couple of foresters and imprezas. karamihan daw ay evaporator ang sira. ngayon malamig na a/c ko pati yun "L" compressor hose nagpapawis na sa lamig.

One thing to prevent consistent swapping of aircon filter is to clean the filter once a month. madali lang baklasin yun kasi. also, in my experience. naggupit ako ng bahagyang filtrete ng 3m at pinatong ko sa ibabaw. yes, it will still enter through the sides. at least there is a prefilter to increase the life of the main filter.

lastly, napansin ko sa experiences ko. never drive a car with really high rpms with the A/C turned on. track or even street racing (which i don't condone or do.) where a car is required to hit more than 5000rpms can cause the compressor to sometimes over spin, even with a clutch assembly (although i dont have actual data for this and is based on my experience only as a driver of an EG honda, kung saan ay lagi kong hinahataw at ginagamit ang v-tec) and pressurize the line too much causing o-ring gasket leaks, i replace the o-ring gaskets and recharge freon at least once every month then. so, from that time on i never leave the A/C on when im driving the car hard. The A/C of the car is only designed to spin at a daily drivers pace. and if you wish to put your pedal to the metal. you may need to switch your A/C off, just run the fan and activate the air intake to at least freshen the air inside the car just to be safe.

Hello Sir WRXmeister! Latest post ka so high chances of replying back. Just would like to know where you go to for your aircon to be checked? Actually madame din akong tanong kasi newbie subie owner ako 2009 impreza 2.0R hehe. Hope to hear from you soon!
