forester dillema ... :/

Guys mejo na bore ako sa interior ng forester... Pero maraming nag sasabi mas ok forester compare to rav4 ... Ok may I know what can I aDd or do to its interior? Honestly I love the tribecas interior... So techie... But....

d daw bagay sakin ksi first time car owner ako and magastos daw sa gasolina ksi v6 daw... But... Again I love its interior... So now I am sad ksi napaka simple ng forester

any help to lighten me up... Thanks... 27- female rider here...

Anyway, IMHO, most subaru owners do not care about interior upgrades. They focus on performance upgrade.. Magsasasawa ka sa option, from engine to suspension... Unlike sa other brands na madami ang option mo for cosmetic upgrades, like yung Hyundai... Tignan mo mga Tucson daming ka option na accessories.

If you're not comfortable with the Forester, you can check other brands... CRV malapit ng ilabas, kaso how long can you wait, remember every time there is a new car, mahaba ang pila nyan...

Headlight per pc = 90k

PMS = May nakapagsabi saakin umaabot ng 25k... Normal PMS lang

Gas = Hmm. Lesser than you would expect.

Ganun talaga. Tingin mo kung mura lang yung maintenance at sa gas yan, ganyan lang sila kakonti sa kalsada?

Grabeng naman yung PMS. Rav 4 na lang atleast siguro lang mas mura sa lahat ng choices tsaka maganda din naman lalo na kung Pearl white...

I agree with the headlight... Kaya nga may insurance...

PMS = 25K, who told you that? My last PMS was 6K lang.. full synthetic pa yun. Kung casa to casa ang pricing, I think pareho ang ang price ng PMS ng mga japanese cars. and in fairness with MI, ok service nila compared to other dealers..

konti, compared to toyota, honda and hyundai, I agree with you... Pero dumarami na din ang naka forester ngayon specifically ang NA

Regarding gas consumption, malakas siya pero if you will compare it with other CUV, hindi masyado nagkakalayo... I can only base this with the cars we have...

ewan ko siguro may iba pa siyang pinagawa...

yep N/A mas dumadami kasi mas mura i-maintain at mas long term.. ang turbo kasi pag bumigay ka due to poor maintenance kawawa ka pag pinarepair mo na e.

Kahit anong kotse pag poor ang maintenance masisira. Kailangan lang ng turbo alaga sa magandang oil.
In fairness hindi aabot ng 25k PMS sa MI at masarap ang libreng kape doon.

ako din puro 6k lang inaabot tuwing pms, fully synthetic na din i think 4-5K lang pag semi. and yes the service is much much better than ford, hyundai, mitsu, toyota, suzuki, honda and isuzu. when i go to subaru i feel like a vip because of their treatment, sa guard pa lang nag sisimula na ang magandang treatment hangang sa mga employee sa loob at sa manager.

actually dati nung bagong bili ko forester ko sinubukan ko kung gaano ka trust worthy ang casa nila, i purposely live some stuff inside my car like ipod, tactical light, old cellphone pag nag papa service ako wala naman kumukuha pag balik ko nan don pa din. wala pa sila check list nung time na yon kaya madali mag nakaw mga employee nila kung gugustuhin nila pero di naman ng yayari.

25k is a bit too much for regular pms, kahit nga STi di lumalagpas ng 10k ang regular pms.

Yeah me too nasa 6k rin lang naspend ko sa kada oil change ko fully synthetic na yun.. i've been driving my forester for almost 3 years now. MI's service is way much better than other casa quick service centers, and mechanics ng MI's mostly trained and certified in Japan that's what I learned from one of them. Fuel consumption is way better than other Mini-suv's pumapatak ng 6-7 km/L unlike ng Rav4 and CRV nasa 4-5 lang.. Handling and performance ang key factors ng forester, not the interior. isa pa maganda resale value ng subaru.

may kasabihan nga ang subaru owners - "You have to own one, to appreciate."

Preventive Maintenance Schedule... PMS...

One thing to consider pala if you want the FXT... The gas requirement is minimum 95 octane... Kung Petron ang gamit mo, minimum XCS ang kakagarga mo and not unleaded gas...
