It's really starting to look like it's better to keep the stock HU unless we can actually demo the Panasonic HU prior to installation..
On another note.. any idea how long it takes Motor Image/LTO to process OR/CR nowadays?

Hi Sir, is your unit a premium model or base model?, i have my unit premium model delivered already installed with panasonic hu ( from alabang ), but i was expecting a harman hu installed as told by a greenhills SA ( greenhills unit are installed with harman).
Have anyone tried playing dvd video on a harman through the cd or through usb, can it be upgraded to watch video in the future? i would also like to know the resolution of the screen.
So far with my panasonic, I tried playing movie through my usb but it just says usb not connected, but dvd cd works. The weblink so far is still not working. Maybe the app is still not updated.
If harman had better resolution and can play video then i will request to have it replaced. But if harman would not be able to play video then i will stick with my panasonic. I am also trying to find the model number for panasonic and harman unit ( research comparison ) but so far have not gotten any information.
Any customer feedback or review from those 2 different headunits would be appreciated.

What kind of freebies do your SA's offer you?

Mine said he will think of other freebies pa. I've yet to confirm with him again. But yes, I also asked about the LTO and since I opted for a bank loan instead of going with the dealership finance, then I also have to cover the 12K fee!
Did you try asking about freebies from other SA's?

Zero freebies for me too (well, except for a key chain that I saw in the glove compartment of the car haha). I also had to pay the PHP 12k LTO registration fee.. my SA showed me a memo from their management stating that they would NOT cover the LTO fee.
*kevindd992002: Mind posting here if you get any freebies from your SA? Which MI branch did you get from again? BGC is it?
Lol, what a freebie.
Sure, I'll do that when I get the unit. Unfortunately, they're still looking for ways to get a Dark Blue one for me because I deposited the reservation fer at the same day the last person deposited his but he got in a few hours earlier than me and that allocated unit was the last one! But I was told that he did not confirm yet so I still have a chance.
I'll get it from Subaru Manila Bay.

Lucky you on finding a white one. My SA told me that the line for a white XV (any variant) was a couple dozen deep in EDSA.
I might hold out on getting one atm as I haven't gotten a test drive yet. I was able to drive the Sportage GTLine and it was a sweet experience. The CRV is another one I am keen on checking out.

Based on another topic in this forum, they say that the registration time is dependent on both the dealership and LTO. The dealership can speed up/lengthen the process depending on a couple of things:
- how diligent they are in completing your documents prior to sending to LTO
- whether or not they do batch processing of car registrations
- sadly, how much their lagay is to the LTO
I saw one last night near Ortigas area. Ganda ng unit, mas malaki na siya tignan talaga compared to the previous gen.
