If you're planning to change your HU to a third-party brand like Pioneer or Alpine make sure na kumpleto pa rin ang car settings. May mga settings kasi sa oto na via HU mo lang ma configure like signal lights and timeout ng interior lights.
I think there was a previous discussion in this thread before about the Panasonic "upgrade" offer from Subaru Greenhills. The owner can opt to "upgrade" to the Panasonic infotainment as replacement for the stock Starlink system after a month. Perhaps a replacement also in case the stock infotainment system starts to malfunction.

One of the complaints I've read in some forums was the buggy Starlink system in the new Impreza model. Both the Impreza and XV use the same Starlink system. Here's some youtube vids I bumped into while doing some research on the issue. Some of the comments in the vid mentioned about a known software bug with the Starlink system that comes with the new Impreza and XV. The dealership should know about this (if they will be honest about it).

Halos same size lang sila pero yung leg room sa second row ng vitara medyo masikip compare sa XV.

In all honesty, if you're in the market for a Subaru then a Suzuki is probably not on the cards.

Not entirely true, I myself first choice ko is the XV totl, but then the Vitara was introduced.

Now, it's a 500k difference, I know the XV wins in almost all categories, but 500k is 500k =)

    Fair enough.

I tend to primarily think in terms of a budget and then get the best possible choice for that budget.

For instance, in the ₱1.55M space, I personally think that the XV is the best and most bang-for-the-buck choice if you're looking for a crossover. The Mazda CX-5 Pro would be a close second. For PPV's, no.1 would be the Everest Trend with the Montero GLS a close runner-up.

If I am not willing to part with the extra 500k, then I would immediately remove any option that's out of the budget. And then start again. It's just easier for me that way.

Yup, ako kase crossover talaga hinahanap ko. Kahit may 1.5M na Montero/Fortuner, pass ako.

Apparently medyo malaki yung price range nya, from the Ecosport up to the XV. (you can almost buy 2 Ecosports for the price of one XV haha)

Madami din choices, so test drive na lang talaga.

    Ditto.

It also depends on your reason for buying a new car. My current car is Ecosport Ti. Getting a Suzuki Vitara as your next car is kind of uninspiring on my case.
