Yeah, I'd have to test my SRH further to confirm. Takot din ako, lol.

I'm hoping this disappointment fades out after a few days I was choosing between the XV 2.0i-S and Civic RS Turbo when I was researching for what to buy and concluded that the XV has more tech than the Civic. I hope I made the right decision. Some of the features that the Civic has over the XV:

    1) Speed Sensing Door Lock
    2) Remote Engine Start
    3) Built-in GPS
    4) Auto Brake Hold
    5) Multi-view Reverse Cam
    6) Doors Unlock automatically when you approach the car with the key fob (Civic's version of smart entry)
    7) HDMI-in
    8) Oil monitor system

Among the above, I think the biggest downer for me is the Auto Brake Hold function, why install an ebrake na walang Auto Brake Hold function hehe yan ang best feature ng ebrake IMHO. The rest, I like to keep it simple so not very concern with them.

Haha, I agree. Medyo kaartehan ko na lang iba. The SA even told me that all of the Subaru models don't have speed sensing auto lock.

I hope we can upgrade once certified. Anyone has an idea if it will just involve firmware upgrade?

Yes, Eyesight is still not available here and I'm one of the few that considers this a very big disappointment. They say that they're trying to bring it here for next year but who knows. Actually, the 2018 XV here has Eyesight but they intentionally removed it for the reason that it still isn't compatible with our traffic patterns.

It's just not a firmware upgrade. They remove all cameras and sensors for Eyesight intentionally.

New here mga sir, been lurking since the launch of the new XV hehe.

I just got my 2.0i-s last friday, wala ba talaga siyang lane assist? Yung test drive unit kasi na pinakita meron, though hindi ko naman talaga siya gagamitin, nagtataka lang ako bakit wala sa actual.

The welcome lights also work with the 2.0i! Just set the interior lights to Door. When you approach the locked car with the key it will turn on the interior lights for around 30 secs.
