Bummer! My service advisor said the current XV's cannot be upgraded eith Eyesight. My sales agent said a month ago that they were advised that it can be upgraded. So I'm not sure which is which.

Or maybe they don’t plan to bring it in as an upgrade for previous models.

Do other countries have EyeSight available as a post-purchase option?
Parang I don’t see anything on the net about it being possible.

I'm really doubtful that they can retrofit Eyesight to earlier XVs that didn't come with it. It's not just a parking camera, it's a whole system altogether.

Playing the devil's advocate here. Is it worth the trouble and expense adding the Eyesight system in your Subie? Same as Jut, it may not be as simple as adding rear sensors or dash cams.
not possible. its also a safety issue

Any way of getting the new model with Eyesight (when the time comes) without losing too much money?

If you really want EyeSight, now would be the best time to sell your XV as it’s value will be lower once the new model arrives.
Personally, I don’t think EyeSight is of much use unless you’re a beginner driver. I’m happy with my unit without computers dictating what I can and can’t do [emoji4]

How do trade in programs work?
It is a decent car, yes. I just hate the fact that after month of getting it come the announcement of a version with Eyesight. Had I known about this sooner, I wouldn't care about the excise tax and will exert the patience of waiting until the Eyesight version is out.
Sorry for the rant
