Have them place the beeper for the reverse sensor at the back ... no need to have the wire run up to the front ... you can hear it well enough from the back ... some models have a high and low volume switch ...

If you're talking about the parking sensors you get from the casa, then they only alert you with a sound. No, they will not be connected to the HU. They're simple ultrasonic sensors with a speaker.Good luck!

As expected, the XV 2.0i-S wins CAGI's "Compact Crossover AWD" of the year.

Spotted a dark blue (or was it black) premium running around BGC earlier tonight. Your headlights are off. DRLs are bright though.
No pics yet from Technical Details. Ian is sick and had to go to the doctorI am very satisfied with the results of their hard work and impressed with the skill and meticulousness of his crew. Looks like no one else will be touching the XV's soft paint anytime soon.
I'll try to take pics myself under bright sunlight but the XV is a garage queen until we receive a copy of the OR/CR.
Some pics in the shop:

So I tried opening the moonroof and turning off the engine purposely to check if it'll alert me of an open window. Surprisingly, it didn't. So kapag nakalimutan mo isara yung moonroof after getting out of the car and umulan, patay na.

interesting. my hyundai alerts me with a blinker on my dash. but it does let me lock doors.

I was also checking for blinkers or just a simple notification icon in the dash that says it is open pero wala talaga.
I'll have to check tomorrow for the hood or trunk.
Another question: for my 1st PMS, does it matter if I got to Subaru BGC or Subaru C5? The one in BGC is really small though I'm not sure if that even matters. Since they are operational longer than of their new branch in C5, I'm assuming their mechanics are more experienced?

Visited Subaru Greenhills and the new XV is really a looker both inside and out!
If I wasn’t decided on my next Subaru, the XV would def be near the top of the list.

normally basic oil changes are given to the new mechanics..
senior mechanics do the troubleshooting..
note the dipstick oil level and color.
fresh oil always looks lighter than amber..
mark the oil filter..if you want to know if it was changed..

You can have it serviced at any Subaru dealer in the country ... but not all dealers are the same ... some are better, some worst ...
Based on experience, which would you recommend?
Subaru customer service has been calling and texting customers lately to ask for feedback based on their experience. Personally I think another factor aside from the dealership would also be the person you’ve talked to.
I’m a total newbie at this casa thing but syempre from a customer’s perspective, the lesser palabok added to my bill, the better.
I’ve had mine serviced at BGC ever since I got it 5 years ago. Overall, I’m satisfied with the work and it’s close to where I work so I can just leave it in the morning and then pick it up on the way home.

It treats the trunk as a fifth door so it should not allow you to lock the car if any of the doors are open. The hood I haven't tried yet.
Spotted a dark blue unit (conduction ROB) at the Bonifacio Technology Center open parking yesterday afternoon
The cruise control did not blink yesterday but it was only running for less than an hour per leg with a sedate pace.
Haba na pala ng backread sa thread na to ngayon lang ulit naview haha! Sakto just had my 1st pms the other day at subaru manila bay, the usual checkup, change oil and filter, then carwash. Here are the details for your reference
1600km check - free labor
Oil(shell 5w30 full syn 5L) - 1,776.80PhP
Oil filter - 535.71
Total cost (w/ vat) - 2,590PhP
Arrived at the service center at exactly 9am, the service waa finished at around 11am.
Took a photo of the job order but it wont upload, it says that file size is larger than limit. Do you still edit the pics that you post here? Hehe sorry mangmang eh haven't tried posting pics here before
As for the oil filter, mura na ba yun at 600?
Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
600 is fair price imo. ebay typical price is 9-16usd
