anyone of you notice that our spare tire is not the same as the ones fitted in our units? our spare tire is of a different size and has a mark "for temporary use only"

For those who have the 2013 XT turbo, hows your fuel consumption lately? for the sake of accuracy, lets use the onboard trip computer reading

purely hiway driving = 9.3L/100kms (based on 140kms travelled, at night around 10pm onwards)
mostly city driving = 14.5L/100kms (based on 1 full tank, around 300kms travelled)

i think the improvement comes from the "driving habit". i now know how to maximize the power through the CVT without gunning it. always in sport mode, rarely use paddle shift.

In the US it's called running tires. It's meant to be as temporary fix while you drive your car to the tire repair shop. They seldom give full size spare tire in the US.

After of two months of owning the 2.0(NA) forester, we suddenly find it a quite bumpy. My wife the one who started complaining. Checked on the tires and even lowered it to 30psi Front and 28 Psi Rear. She even insisted it's more bumpy that our 0'9 Fortuner. I checked on the tires and it's seems OK. No unusual or bumps on it. Anybody noticing this?

I've ridden at the back of the 2014 Fozzie and it does seem a bit more bouncy than the previous model. Do you notice it from the driver's seat as well?

Minimal only on the driver's seats. Mostly it's those from the back who complains the bounciness.

You can try the O-sullee or other polyurethane spring cushions to soften the ride. Had these installed on my Sorento and worked wonders on the ride. Sorento is pretty bouncy as well before that. I'm considering the Forester as a 2nd ride just don't know whether t go base or Totl.
