A purported official design sketch of the 2009 Subaru Forester began circulating on the web earlier this month, and now what appears to be scanned images of a brochure have surfaced. The redesigned crossover reflects Subaru's changing design language, which is moving away from the unpopular propeller-inspired look of the original B9 Tribeca.
The new Forester will be built on the new Impreza's platform, with obvious modifications for off-road use. Engine choices are expected to mirror those of the Impreza as well.
Most other details remain a mystery, but look for an official debut in the next few months — possibly at the Detroit auto show
