Subaru insurance- In house or external?

Hi folks, I just want to ask what is the insurance option that the owners here availed of...

I was told there are 2 in-house companies:

1. Mercantile
2. MAA

Honestly, I haven't heard any of them.

Should I pick one of them? Which one? or go with Generali-BDO?

My CR-V was insured with People's and I never had problems with claims, ever. I want the same experience pa din sana.

Please advise.

I will now answer my own question based on fact and experience.

I went with BDO Insurance, which brokered the deal to Prudential. I was surprised hindi ipinasok sa Generali.

Two weeks passed since I got my car and my windshield was hit by a nut along NLEX and was cracked (as big as 5 centavos).

Dealing with BDOI is a PITA. I paid the insurance in full (that's fine by me) to make a claim, BUT they still debited the 2nd installment from my account. Up to now, di pa nila binabalik.

It was only on December 22 that they gave Motor Image the go signal to work on my car.

my forester is insured by malayan .. or whatever it's called right now .. i don't remember .. i've been using malayan for all my auto insurance needs for the past 10 years ..

I went for BDO Insurance brokers (Prudential I think)

their quote was almost 8k lower than in house and had better coverage/benefits.

Parang biased yung MI against external insurance kasi sabi sa akin kahit my LOA na but wala pa rin payment from the insurance company by the time na magawa yung car ay kailangan ko daw bayaran muna para ma release ang car ko.

Tama ba ito or iniisahan lang ako? Iniisip ko kasi kahit anong ganda ng insurance ko ay hindi makaka habol yung payment kaya more or less sure na mag aabono muna ako. I hope mag reply yung mga may previous experience. Thanks very much! P.S. MI BGC po pala nag sabi sa akin nito.
