Tsaka besides sa thunder sa masangkay for parts, are there any alternatives?
maraming salamat

December 3rd, 2008 06:38 AM #3Pag small parts lang, sa Motor Image ka na kasi reasonable naman sigurado ka pa. BTW, I own a 95 Legacy.
For big parts like radiator, etc., try mo Fusion R on E. Rodriguez nr. cor of Balete drive, tel. #724-3822. Look for Oliver.
I haven't been to it but there also a store called Satoshi 647-2825. I have not tried this store though but it was recommended to me by another Legacy owner.

March 24th, 2009 06:44 PM #4kumusta performance ng 95-96 legacy? Buying a 2nd hand legacy, let's say hindi naman laspag, how much kaya should one budget for repairs considering more than 10 year old na siya? I once heard kasi mga P100,000 at least at hindi pa kasama mga major parts na maaring malapit na masira.

i used to drive a 97 model. very good ang performance nya. i had it serviced sa motor image before i shipped it to my aunt in kalibo. gumastos kami ng around 100t para maayos lahat ng pede ayusin para matagal-tagal ulit bago ipa-service kasi nga nasa kalibo na. mahal pero it was worth it di naman taga kasi its a subaru brand and expected na mahal pyesa. we bought it brand new sa columbia motors pa ata kaso nawala sa kanila ung brand kaya pahirapan sa paghanap ng pyesa. good thing me motor image na. kumpleto sa pyesa except speed sensor but it took only 3 weeks para dumating from japan. good as new ng lumabas.

As a weekend car or a track car, why not? Most people get a Legacy for, well, its legacy.
EJ20, manual, wagon body, AWD. A very unique car. When modded properly, a fun track toy.
Now if you're not a car enthusiast and just need a reliable daily drive thats efficient and cheap to maintain, a 20 year-old Subaru certainly shouldn't be your choice.

^ you could try d & r fast auto repair along sucat ave, pque. They specialize in a/t tranny repairs and they're pretty competent at it. Maybe they could help you out

Choice I would have made as well.
