    naku hirap naman ng paghintay

i'm planning on getting a glock 23 or maybe the glock 23c if konti lang difference ng price. Mas gusto ko na kasi compact mas hindi bulky and mas lighter in weight considering the new rulings na lumalabas regarding concealed carry. Ang hirap kasi nito tayong responsible owners is naapektohan ng mga gun toting, unresponsible gun owners.

Would you know about the gun amnesty that has been reported in the news? Besides the loose firearms that were never registered, how will the amnesty apply to firearms that were previously registered but the licenses were not renewed or kept updated?

In the news it was reported that only a Php650.00 registration fee will be assessed. Are there other charges? Considering that for regular renewals the total amount to be paid to the PNP is around Php1400++.
I'm so sorry for the delayed response, bro. I hope my advice is still timely for you.

Yes, the news about the Php 650.00 renewal fee is true. I was at FED (Firearms and Explosive Division) of Camp Crame last week and there are posted announcements of what to do. You have to bring your expired license and 2 pcs. of 2 x 2 photos (if you don't have photos, you can have your photos taken at the basement for 80 bukos). Then ask from the amnesty window an application form (they'll ask to see your expired license first). Fill that out, attach your photos, and submit the form. Madali lang, just follow the steps posted. Tip: Go early and avoid Monday mornings.

Here's what I know about the supply of Glocks in the Philippines:

The Austrian government (not Glock) has issued an indefinite ban of firearms shipment to the Philippines' commercial market due to a number of Glocks meant to be marketed here illegally ended up in Taiwan and Japan.

The Glocks you see for sale every now and then is sourced from the US; went through a number of middlemen here and abroad and the result is the astronomical price tag for a piece of a plastic-framed pistol.

Nice choice sir. IMO, the xd grip is ergonomically better.
I had the chance to use an xd40 sub-compact, nice to shoot but I would look for better after-market sights.

^^^ sir S_Q nasa 54k ang bigay sa akin for the unit. Kaya lang ang problem ko sa ngayon is hindi pa nadating mga shipment nila ng spare mags, sabi by november par aw dating. Malamang sa november na rin ako kumuha ng spare mags sa guns show para gun show price din Sabi tataas daw po for the next batch ng shipment nila. siguro kasi alam rin nila wala pang Glock ulit sa market.
