mga chief, finally "bit the bullet" and reserved an Armscor 1911A1-45 FS PS sa gun show kanina. two week waiting period daw for permits and licenses. that's gonna be my first gun ever.

was really tempted to get the fancier, lighter ones, but remembered patriarch's and arvin's advice from awhile back and started with the basic gear muna so i could learn and practice on it first. super excited for the next firing eb!

sabi nung salesguy, yung mga PTC daw hinold until october, pero ipa-process na raw ang PTT after the gun is licensed. ok na ba yun at least to bring it to the range and back without getting into trouble?

anyway, kahit di pa siya dumadating, sama ako ha, para may advanced experience and tips from the masters.

By the way issuance of PTC and PTT were having problems in fact daming mga rumors why. But the last time I was about to get a PTT from Jethro I was told that PTT would be issued and allowed only to be use during weekends. Kaya daming di kumuha isa na ako dun. The reason of PNP was such PTT will be issued only to PSPA and gun club members who normally hold gun competition on weekends. Ang mahal at higit sa lahat di mo maeenjoy yung baril mo pag nagkataon. Like me and other gun enthusiast who are not regular na makapag-firing but only during our vacation time, a weekend and even 'heard about 1 day PTT ay hindi na praktikal sa akin...and it will cost around 800++ pesos for such PTT.

About the PTCFOR, as of this time inu-una lang yung mga Personnel, Politiko, at yung mga Government employees, Civilian like us would have to wait maybe 'til 2 months from now. 'Hope this will not be a way of milking the legal gun owner of their money by the PNP. Sa present situation, parang gusto ko na lang magfiring sa likod bahay

yikes, wasn't told about that weekends / one-day PTT issue, but i asked the salesguy/gal outright about the situation, and sabi nila ang i-issue na PTT daw (1k daw if i remember it correctly) after i get the license ay good for one quarter (3 months). that piece of information was one of the major factors why i decided to get it na, despite the problems with the PTC issuance.

i was very makulit and verified this several times with two of their people....hopefully they were telling me the truth and not just B.S.'ing me to get the sale. X-P

Yup sa SM Megamall Gun Show.... Sa Armscor booth mismo or sa iba.

Anyway kung maire-release agad nila yung license within 2-weeks mas ok kasi pwede na rin nila i process yung PTT. Marami na rin naman ang nakakakuha ng PTT yung nga lang domoble yung presyo ng 3-months PTT. Kung may stock noong kinuha mo na unit mas maiksi din yung timeframe ng release. Baka next uwi ko i-process ko na lang yung PTT not praktical sa aking yung PTC since 10 days lang yung vacation ko sa atin.

'Hope maayos na yung issue regarding PTC and PTT para enjoy na at makapag EB na tayo.
