newbie here, im planning to install oil catch can on my strada 3.2 AT, i dont think that it could possibly void my warranty, any inputs strada peeps? TIA

No, it will not void your warranty because it does not in any way alter the vehicle.

mga sir good pm po.. new strada owner po got our unit last week ng jan 2012.. glx-v at po nasa 1300 na ang milage ko, at naka 5 balik nako ng warranty claim.. sa winterpine kasi ung steering remote control ko e di gumagana.. inayos na nila sa pamamagitan ng pagpalit ng head unit ko na alpine kasi daw sira yung IR nung face ng headunit ko, tapos ngayon delayed ang responce ng dteering audio remote ko haaaayyyyy, tapos 3 times na nagstock up ang driver side power window ko, dinala ko sa casa meron lng daw loose na socket pero ngyn ok na haaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy
tapos ngayon parang meron ako nareirinig n squeeking sound sa rear suspension ko haaaaaaayyyyyyyy
any of you guys experienced this?

next month na ako kukuha ng unit,gals v.ganito ba talaga ang strada?bago pa dami na agad problem?

hindi naman sir.....syempre yung mga nagpopost dito karaniwan ang mga nagkakaproblema....pero pailan ilan lang din naman yan.... minsan lang talaga natyetyempohan yung may nagkakaron ng mga lemon...


Backread lang kayo dun sa mga old thread 1,000++pages of information type nyo lang dun sa search box yung concern and im 101% sure nailagay na dun yun....

regarding naman dun sa HU kasi nung isang nagpost...dito lang nilagay yan...so malamang yung intallation if not the HU itself ang may factory defect...dun naman sa window nya....kung minsan nangyayari talaga sa assembly line na may nakakalimutan na higpitan yung worker....thai kasi gumawa hahaha! di kamuka ng pinoy mabusisi talaga hehe

yun namang sa leaf spring dalin mo lang sa casa may paraan dyan....baka ikaw na ang pang 1000 nagtanong nyan dito sa forums hehe.....:grin

mga sir,isa lang po ba ang color ng fender flare(oem gray) pag binili sa labas ng casa? im planning to have a flat black or white(body colored) on my glx. san po the best and pano diskarte if gusto ko pakulayan? naka install na ba dapat? TIA

sa casa lang din alam ko....but from the price they posted....bibili nalang ako ng cladding kaysa yun...hehe

kung minsan kasi hinde maiiwasan ang minor trouble sa strada natin, parang mga babae din yan kung minsan may sumpong!!! hahaha

The size is either 265/65/R17 or 265/70/17. My current tire is a Bridgestone Dueler 840 (245/65/R17).


Which do you think is the best option?

Gurus, What differs from a 6-ply and 8-ply tire? The price difference is about 2k+. I will not be carrying too much load on the pick-up, it's just about 5-6 people and a few things at the back.

Since you won't be loading enough, 6-ply would suffice IMO.

BTW, I've tried Cooper Discoverer and Savero, much better yung Cooper. Yung Federal mukhang maganda din at yung specs niya at thread pattern ay maganda din pati sidewall design. No idea about maxxis.

try the cooper discoverer ST Maxx. it last longer than the ST and STT (according to manufacturer's claim) but a bit expensive though.

Hi Ry, Is my understanding correct that "ply" is just the thickness of the tire but the spike depth is the same? thank you for the comment. I'm leaning of buying the Cooper but I need to get some comments on guys with experience of Federal tires.

I'd choose the Cooper.

Hmm.. Ang alam ko lang na may significant difference in terms of ride comfort and load rating is the sidewall thickness. Usually 2-3ply (C-rating) ang choice sizes mo including 265/70r16 and 31x10.5r15. Kahit 2-ply lang, di masyadong mag-belly with only 26psi. Tried this with a cargo weight leveling the front fender height and wheeling the cargo to a really rough trail. D-rated tires (6-ply) like Dick Cepek extreme all-terrain can handle really heavy loads pero matagtag din pag walang load.
