Same tayo ng mods sir! in terms of the lid, rollbar, at siyempre sticker. hehe. Just noticed one problem. Para sa akin big na ito. The roller lid assembly, which they put on top of the bedliner has caused scratches on the body. Not just scratches but deep ones, at tanggal talaga whole paint, exposing the metal.
Thinking of bringing my ride back to carryboy. Tingin nyo mga sirs, maayos kaya nila to na maibabalik sa dati like nothing happened? Or mas okay na ipa-ayos or repaint na lang sa casa? Advise nyo naman ako sirs. hehe. Nakaka-stress!!!:mad2:
sir, san banda nagcause ng scratch yung carryboy roller lid mo? maybe you can post a picture kung san banda. based kasi dun sa current picture, di ko masabi kung saan yan banda e.
anyway, so far wala naman ako problema sa roller lid ko. well, except dun sa minor leak dun sa drain, which is i think e mareremedyohan naman. so far di pa naman nagcause ng gasgas sa body yung roller lid ng truck ko.
ayun, kita ko na sir. hmmm. tingin ko dapat hindi didikit yung kahit anung part nung roller lid dun sa body ng truck mo sir. yung sa akin meron pang malaking space between the body and the part where the roller lid assembly was mounted. will post pictures later pag-uwi, wala sa akin ang sasakyan, nasa ate ko pa e![]()
this is my first time to hear about this issue. supposedly, the bedliner should be a perfect fit and is a standard equipment for the strada... if im not mistaken, this is installed either at the Batangas port or at the MMPC plant upon arrival from the Thailand.
---IMO---here is my theory. the bedliner may have been pressed down further touching the base of the pickup bed due to the weight of the roller bar. this prompted the bedliner's edge to touch the double cab body with its rough edge- thus the scratch. IMO, this may have something to do with the pickup bed's alignment with the body. and example is Fellow Baguio BOSB Kraig_Ethan's 2007 GLX 4x4 bed was aligned towards the right or the the left making it look "tabinge" on closeup. my fingers cannot go in-between the bed and the double-cab unlike on the other side where it can fit in.

Yung body ba ng truck natin ay composed of 2 major parts na parang coupled together? i.e. 1st part is from the front to the back of the cab and the other one is from the front of the bed to the rear bumper? Just my thoughts..
actually if you guys havn't removed your bed liners you will notice that im sure almost all of us have body damages under the liners i had my car for almost a year now i decided to clean the body under the liner then found out that there are alot of scratches under it not light but deep that it already shows bare metal on it the liner came with the car so i never had the chance to have a look at it now i did alot of modifications on the car im not sure if it is still covered by the warranty so i decided to put closed cell foam between the body and the liner hope it wont do anymore damage to my truck just wanted to inform you guys
