muhkang malabo mag lagay ng rollbar ang carryboy dual lid sir. lets ask alainroyce as he has one. either you get a roll-up lid (aluminum type), Carryboy GSR or GSM Sports lid, and Campershells sports lid. Those are the sports lid available here in pinas that has a rollbar. I still prefer campershells sports lid although naka GSR ako.
ano po mali sir. hehehehe, sir, please answer OUT-101 question.
((IMO))
I think putting the rollbar on the Strada CE dual lid may not be possible. Looking at the design to start with, the roll bar of most designs are installed on the frame - same goes with the dual lid. i think it is a matter of looking for a design that incorporates both... ask your SA (and perhaps you might want to do this) is to research on other designs by Carryboy/Campershell and other providers on what they can offer. If no other designs are available, you might be ending up with with the CE dual lid. So it is either that or perhaps your own fabrication for the CE dual lid + roll bar- but that is another story.
i'll try to see what i can find by searching on the net... give me 48 hours and i'll PM you if i found something or not.![]()

* sir ian: hehe.. yah i thought so sir.. the thing i like the dual lid coz of the access you have from the rear window to the front lid of the cover.. (btw, i'm working on the gls sports a/t) at the same time, i wanted the rollbar coz of essence of a truck, i mean the rough/rugged look..
* sir av8or5: i will check campershels, havent seen it yet..
anywayz, thanks for the inputs guys appreciate it!![]()
hi sir, need you advice, im now working in getting my new strada (2010 3.2 gls sport) soon.. and i want to upgrade the rims/tires as soon as i get it from the dealer..sir, i wanted to put 24" but as you mentioned hindi kaya.. wala ba talagang remedy sa 24"?
by the way, any recomendation where to buy a good deal of rims/tires? and also, i always like fender flares without paint (looks clean and neat).. where did you get it? (i thought of removing the paint of my gls or buy new set without paint)
tia![]()
*OUT-101, fellow BOSB Bluemica's unit, a Strada GLX 4x4 didn't come equipped with with the fender flares in the first place therefore making it an aftermarket installation. Here it was in Original Form: the one in BLUE!!!
I guess when he had his set of fender flares installed, he requested NOT to have it painted and to simply have it installed.
But in your case since the fender flares are factory painted and installed, you might to either have it painted Black or apply a paint thinning agent (use with care!) to bring out that desired color and texture.
BTW, my apologies, no other designs seen for your dual lid + roll bar.
lets wait for the feedback of other BOSBs regarding the wheel package.
thank you sir ian, you have been so helpful.. anyway sir, even before i always preferred fender flares without paint.. my options are either cover it with film or take it off and replace it with brand new flare without paint..![]()
and sir, re the bed cover, i will opt for the dual lid as of now coz i need it more than the rollbar and utility box (maybe some day if i want a rugged look with offroad big tires..) but as of now, i just want my strada to look yuppie with 22" or if posible 24" rims/tires (kung meron remedy) hehehe
again, thanks a lot sir ian for your inputs. i really appreciate it!![]()
