A few days ago, my fraternity brothers invited me to join their airsoft tournament. With the recent formation of Team S.U.S.O. (Strada United Shooters' Organization), I asked if I can bring along some of the BOSBs to join, who incidentally went to Dau yesterday to complete their airsoft gears.
At first, only papaPauland gave his confirmation to join the tournament while the other members of Team SUSO declined because of their hectic schedules. But Papa Jake, the most addict airsoft BOSB, confirmed at the last minute. After meeting up in Tiendesitas, the three of us proceeded to Nayong Pilipino, the warzone.
Here is the pic of our tickets:
The game consisted of five members per team. There were 7 teams in all. For the tournament, we were joined by two other players to complete the 5-man team together with sir Alex - Jake's friend, serving as alternate player.
And lo and behold! After three games, we found ourselves in the lead with points. True enough, Team SUSO was a shoo-in for the finals. Due to the thorough planning of General Jake, we emerged as the CHAMPS!!!
We did not expect to win but maybe because of the bond between the BOSBs, a little beginner's luck from pauland and I, and the tactical leadership of Papa Jake, we emerged as the over-all champion! WHOOOAAA!
Buti naman, wala ako injury ngayon. Too bad for General Jake, he suffered 3 hits in the face (from our adversaries) and one at the back, courtesy of a friendly fire from pauland, hahahahaha!
Againd CONGRATULATIONS to Team SUSO for bagging The U.P. Beta Sigma Fraternity Speedball Cup!

February 24th, 2009 08:03 PM #9STAGS....yung friend ko si Arbee, sinama ko na minsan diyan sa strike zone sa metrowalk nung naglaro tayo, is inviting us sa March 7, 2009 (saturday i think) sa Ground 9 Quezon City. Naka-reserve yung buong game site for them and tayo lang ang invited players
May laro yung office nila (a legal outsourcing company in makati) around 20+ players daw sila. Naka-reserve yung buong game site for them and tayo lang ang invited nilang players.
whole day ito, we can join them anytime, puwedeng after lunch.
450FPS limit. Jungle terrain.
