I would have winched them out if they wanted to push through driving up to the ranger station. They, however, decided to just leave their vehicle and resume their trip by walking. Good thing I have my new recovery gear with me and it was used for the first time. I pulled them out rearwards, exchanged pleasantries after the pull, and then resumed with our trip.
