ang helix hx7 ba hanggang 10k or 5k lang... semi lang siya di ba?

krinx you can do 10K with HX7, pero dapat yun na ang maximum mo. kasi ang full synth hanggang 15K naman eh.

Hello to all BOSBs,

Im a new Strada owner and wanted to be a member of TSCP unfortunately I can't find time to attend to the EB's. I've been back reading some of threads, lalo na tong PMS even before I acquired my unit.

So far, my unit is scheduled for 10km PMS this Saturday * Peak Motors in Roxas Blvd. Based from previously post, I am looking forward to use Shell Helix HX7 kaya lang may bago silang packaging as well as new viscosity ratings, as of today nakita ko na meron silang 5W40 (Diesel Plus) and 10W30, mas mahal yung Diesel Plus kesa dun sa 10W30. I read the label of 10W30 and found out that this is applicable for Petrol engines with Catalytic converters and intercooled direct injection Diesel engines.

Its a bit confusing lalo na if you consider the cost of the oils, syempre mas mura po kasi yung 10W30.

Any advise?

please take note of this : _w-30 rating is too light an oil for our engines... if you were using gasoline engines okay lang siya. stick to 40 ratings. Also ang manufacturer recommended weight naman talaga is 40

Sir, Saan po ba location nila? Now po kase I'm using Shell HX7 5w40, gumanda yung hatak ng truck ko and nabawasan yung noise ng engine. Laking pagbabago rather than using casa oil. Hanap na lang po kayo ng murang mabibilan ng oil kase hindi naman po pareparehas lahat ng price nila, depende pa din po sa location ng supplier. If you want to know the price po nung akin just pm me na lang po para maadvise ko sanyo.

Has anyone used a magnetised oil trap using harddisk magnet on their Strada? I did used it before in my Mitsu Advie.

For verification lang po ulit, ok lang po ba yung 5W-40 kahit na wala syang label na Diesel? Dun po kasi sa back label nakalagay naman na pwede sya sa turbo-charged and intercooled direct injection diesel engines

parekoy, get the one that doesn't have the diesel label on it. hindi ko lang matandaan ang kulay ng poackaging kasi top1 user ako. the 40 weight HX7 is also used on gasoline engines but rated for diesel.

Yan dn gamit ko sa paj at strada. Shell HX7 5W40. Dati may 10w40 din sila. Kahit may nakalagay na diesel or wala, ok lang yan. Buy from shell station mas mura AFAIK. Nasa P297-310/ltr lang yan dapat eh.

Schedule ko magpa change oil at 35K km, this time outside the casa, info please what oil filter you can recommend? I like to go for F & N air filter but seems MITS mekaniko against the idea, hindi ko masyado nakuha ang reason nya & also when he see my Oil Catch installed sabi nya to pay particular attention about my engine baka raw my negative effect.Sabi ko sa kanya kasi ilang beses na akong nag kaka problema sa EGR & Fuel Control Valve baka makatulong to eradicate or minimize the problem. So far hindi na umi-ilaw ang engine warning. At 40k I'm schedule for heavy check up & this guy will do the service at Php 2K + labor as proposal.

Replaced the scv na din last 30tkms. Kaya pala parang ndi maganda takbo ng strada parang d makaabante.. And now parang hindi na ganun kalamig ang aircon.. Ano naman kaya problem? Thanks

Maybe the mechanic is concerned on the excess oil that might accumulate at the MAS along with some unfiltered dust and may cause some problems with air-fuel mixture. Or baka hindi nya lang kilala ang K&N. Tapos yung sa oil catch tank/can, baka hindi makakadaloy ng maayos ang blowback gas to the intake for recycling. Pro-stock kase ang mga casa.

baldwin BD28 sir for the oil filter....sa Volmax binondo....I'll use it on my next PMS....don't worry kung nasa box lang sya and walang plastic...just be sure na it has the country of origin and the brand is printed directly on the tin and not a stick on label...

1. Properly installed and piped oil catch tank will not screw your engine, mas makakatulong pa nga ito. alam naman ninyo ang mga casa lahat ng ilagay mo sa labas pinipintasan na makakasama daw.

2. k&N air cleaners, or any other after market air cleaner, as long as religiously maintained, will not be a source of contaminants.

semi-synthetic CI-4 rating 15W-40 ang gamit ko; I saw that one, the TOP 1 Evolution P700+/L here in Davao.
Let us see .... 10oookm PMS TOP 1 Evolution?

It's a bit quiet engine and better acceleration than the Mitsu OEM mineral oil.

Read the thread about the oil filter from baldwin, will get it for my next oil change, sarap kasi 1 minute walk lang sila from my place. Plus better filtration at a lower price. Oem oil filter 800plus,
You know what baldwin code can be used for the fuel filter of the 4m41 strada? Decided to chage the fuel filter every 10k kms.
