hi mam ligaya.... sorry ngayon lang ako naka-online...

i just had my clutch (and the clutch bearing and pressure plate) replaced sa Diamond Motors Q ave a few months ago (40k kms)... bill sa akin 15 thou... so medyo mataas yata ang charge sa iyo...

regarding sa El Dorado, may mechanic sila dun and according to them, casa trained sila... so much cheaper kung dun mo dalhin.

Sir Arvin has a motorpool and a private mechanic to maintain their fleet of construction vehicles... sideline lang daw yun pag-accept nila ng repair jobs kung wala ginagawa yung inhouse mechanic nila

wow sobrang layo naman ng pricing, 27k kase ung initial quote nila sa clutch replacement, eto nga kakatawag lang nung service manager and asking rin to replace na daw ung egr worth 14k daw kase kahet nilinis na daw nila humihina ung hatak, haay anu ba yan, well as for changeoil i might go to eldorado, pero kaya ba nila icheck yung sasakyan anten for example kung kelangan na palitan ung brakes, yung coolant etc. ? TIA

Sir kasama na ba yung labor sa 15 thou clutch replacement mo? kase saken besides the 27 thou clutch parts may additional 5 thou sa labor.

Ma'am, 7k lang po ang EGR sa casa. I have confirmed this. Lipat po kayo ng casa, niloloko na kayo.

Hi I am a strada owner, mine is a red triton 2008 model bought by my dad as agift to his daughter. After reading your thread I just want to know what shops you can refer for PMS and checkup of the strada? It seems mukang rip off nga sa casa. I am looking sana for a shop where they can conduct the same kind/quality of check up or better compared on what is being done in the casa, not just the change oil(which is vey easy even in gasoline stations i can bring my oil).

*ooba99 yes it was bought brandnew, Jan 11 2008 if I am not mistaken, so if I understand you correctly, I can claim a warranty for the clutch being repaired right now in my strada? Bukas yung pickup schedule accdg sa servoice manager. et yun dilema ko , the car was serviced in casa naman all the time except my last where I had ny truck serviced in autoplus in edsa, na void na ba un warranty for the clutch? I really suggest you becoming member of the club, or better yet, just drop by and ask your questions.

What dealership did you bring your car in? It seems that your service advisor is not honest with you on the pricing.

El dorado does service for Mitsubishi and also with parts, just contact them directly which branch does servicing.

Speedyfix along Shaw is also a good place.

Now, you mentioned you missed one PMS not done in casa, well, that is already a ground for warranty void.

EGR cleaning is not that expensive unless they will replace those?

ligaya, please let us know which casa you brought your car for pms.. also, as much as we would like to help you we are rather constrained from offering you more than what we already have because to put it simply... it wouldn't be fair to the current members, if we were to just serve you everything in a silver platter. i hope you understand.

now regarding your egr, if you can work your way around with wherever you broiught your car for pms, it is supposed to be under warranty.

The EGR is still under warranty even you missed 1 PMS.. manny TSCP member willing to help you. My truck already replace the EGR and SCV for free worth 15k plus labor.. BOSB tulungan nalang natin si Ms Ligaya kawawa naman..

I had my SCV changed under warranty, but I wasnt able to see the paper/costing kasi i had my friend pick up my unit sa dealership.

i had also my scv replaced at my dealership, awa ng dios kahit piso ala aKO binayaran......mam ligaya lumipat na kayo ng casa......niloloko na kayo nyan....egr papalitan? wala pa atang nae post dito na nagpalit ng egr.....

Hi sir, mine was changed because nasira. Around 30K KM na car ko noon. If your SCV is working fine, no problem,no need to worry. Yung EGR naman, yungiba pinalinis lang mga 20K KM or up.

Sa akin kasi meron surges when i drive, but with the computer, hindi nakita, after a day, i tried to pass a car, ayun, nag power loss siya, then lumabas check engine light. Mine wasn't bad, my SCV malapit na masira, so order na sila for replacement. HTH

Can you post a detailed breakdown so we can see the charges of the 40K PMS versus your clutch replacement. Much better if you can scan it.

Whats wrong with your Strada ang your EGR needs replacement? Cant they just clean it as it can accumulate deposits.

We would really like to help you, but best if you attend our meeting so members can validate your PMS documents and personally give you advice. Dont worry, we dont force people to become a member. We will still guide you in the right direction.

im not yet on the 40k pms but as i recall from my backreads months ago no one has reached that amount. hmm.. i suggest you consult the pros on this thread. arvin, LR, TP, Ral?
