Hi I am a strada owner, mine is a red triton 2008 model bought by my dad as agift to his daughter. After reading your thread I just want to know what shops you can refer for PMS and checkup of the strada? It seems mukang rip off nga sa casa. I am looking sana for a shop where they can conduct the same kind/quality of check up or better compared on what is being done in the casa, not just the change oil(which is vey easy even in gasoline stations i can bring my oil).
Welcome po sa thread!.. Ang swerte mo naman sana meron din akon daddy na perahas ng daddy mo o kaya mommy.. Can i call you Joy? I think under warranty pa yung strada mo. wait mo nalang muna matapos yung warranty para pag meron major trouble ma claim mo yung warranty.. after the warranty pwede ka na lumipat sa suking mekaniko..![]()
Actually my truck is under repair in the casa right now, nag amoy sunug kase ung clutch. the service manager said something abt "slide clutch" yata un pag kadinig ko, Im not sure if its covered ng warranty, or just a normal wear and tear, Mahal rin kase the casa is billing me 27k for the clutch replacement alone.
Welcome po sa tsikot.com, welcome sa strada PMS thread, Ms. Ligaya.
If your strada is 2008 model, I assume it is still under warranty. If that is the case, I suggest that you have your strada serviced and checked sa casa so your warranty stands and can claim if ever something goes wrong with the truck.
Did you acquire your strada first hand, or previously-owned na ito?

*ooba99 yes it was bought brandnew, Jan 11 2008 if I am not mistaken, so if I understand you correctly, I can claim a warranty for the clutch being repaired right now in my strada? Bukas yung pickup schedule accdg sa servoice manager. et yun dilema ko , the car was serviced in casa naman all the time except my last where I had ny truck serviced in autoplus in edsa, na void na ba un warranty for the clutch? Thanks ulit.
yes sir, since kase wala ako alam san pupunta I went directly sa casa, pero after this I would like to find a better shop na hindi rip off, I am in quezon city right now. I also read about eldorado, nag gagawa rin ba sila ng mga heavy pms check up like the casa does? o change oil lang kaya nila gawen?
If a diagnosis was already done by the casa, you can ask them directly if it is covered by warranty. Sa clutch kasi, as far as I know, may serviceable part that is not covered by the warranty, and nasisira ito ng madali if you are a clutch rider.
If it is not covered, then you may take the advice of alainroyce to have it fixed with the mechanic that he knows.
Naalala ko tuloy yung isang truck (not a strada) na nasira ang clutch after passing through "an impassable road".![]()
I see well it seems its to late for me with the clutch thing right now since tapos na sya tomorrow, cguro if I can just ask help where I can find an alternative shop in QC area para next time nde nako sa casa ppunta, how abt eldorado? can they do the pms being done in the casa? hindi lang basta changeoil , inlucing yung check up ng parts, kung anu na yng dapat palitan at hindi pa dapat. Tnx ng marame sa response mga sirs.
Doc kung sa QC sya baka pwede sa shop ni arvin? kasi yung truck nya mekaniko nya lang yung gumagawa diba?
Siguro ma'am, I'll take this opportunity to invite you to become a member of the Strada Club of the Philippines para ma-meet mo ang other strada owners na mababait at matulungin, at maalam sa strada, para hindi ka mag atubilin magtanong at humingi ng tulong in the future. We have several lady members sa club. You may want to visit this link: http://www.stradaclubph.com/join-us.php
Oh, by the way, avoid using sms/text typing when posting in the forum. Against forum rules kasi yun, eh. Thanks for understanding.![]()
