haha used to bike a lot in college and MBA when i had night classes, Marikina to UP Diliman Arch / CBA and back. kung may energy pa, ikot-ikot muna around the oval before pedaling home. mas relaxed na ang trip pabalik kasi puro pababa na sa marcos highway.

yikes....that was around a few years and several (hundred) pounds ago! heheh *sigh*

unfortunately, already gave my mountain bike away to someone who really needed it. but wifey and i are now looking for heavy duty FOLDABLE bikes that we can lug around anywhere. hopefully not too expensive (saw some in MOA for around 40+K a pop good for 100kilos) coz will also get units for her and our stradlet. kahit 2nd hand siguro oks lang. any leads?

Manong Sael...I hope you wont mind, I took the liberty of posting a pic of your Mountain Bike.

Did you take this for a downhill spin?

This really gives a new meaning to the term "hard tail".

Meron ako MTB and Roadbike...I usually ride my Roadbike when I want to go for a short spin around the area and burn some calories too....Yung MTB naman is for Halfday to Whole Day Trekking sa DRT.

I'm also thinking of getting one of those folding bikes na pwede kong ilagay lagi sa Strada ko.

    Sir Moxxxs,

Depends, hard-tail or full-suspension? I assume you mean a MTB.

Si Big Block yata yung knowledgeable dito.

    Sir,

    Mountain Bike (mtb)

yung hardtail - front suspension lang and the traditional rear end of a bicycle

full suspension - front suspension and rear suspension (soft tail)

For every price..there is a corresponding setup..be it a FS (Full Suspension), HT (Hard Tail)..or even a Roadbike (Racer).

Decent ones usually starts at around 30K and it goes up to 250K..beleive it or not.

    Hi mga BOSB!

Mountainbiking is actually the primary reason why I'm buying a Strada. I have a mountain at home na hindi ko na nagagamit. Gusto kong gamitin ulit para mabawasan ang taba ko. I'm still hoping my bike will fit sa Strada even with a G500 installed.

Meron bang regular group who goes mountain biking within Metro Manila?

    Thanks!
