Hi guys, to help new and old owners, lets post our feedback on PMS, what dealer, how much, etc.

    I'll strart,

    1KM PMS
    Dealer (Citimotors Las Pinas)
    Oil (mineral)
    Cost P2211.76
    Breakdown:
    Labor: Free
    Engine Flush (amalie) P284.07
    Mineral oil P1093.05
    Oil Filter P834.62 w/discount P927.36 w/out discount.
    Service shop consumables Free

    5KM PMS
    Dealer (Union Motors Manila)
    Oil (customer provided)
    Cost P1846.12
    Breakdown:
    Labor: Free
    Engine Flush P695.00
Oil (Motol fully synthetic P3700 customer provided)
    Oil Filter P995
    Cleaning Materials P150

From my experience, laki difference between the two dealers on engine flush and cost of oil filter. If I was to compare both dealers, ill choose citimotors instead (facilitity, billing system, price). Other members, breakout your PMS records and post them here. This will be beneficial to all.

1,000 kms PMS on my 4M41 * Freeway Baliwag Bulacan.

    Oil Filter = 1467.18
    Mineral Oil 9li = 1,211.58
Including VAT = 3,000 Total Cost

As suggested by the dealer, Synthetic is recommended...but theres no problem also using mineral oil.

    Great Idea Av8or5!

1K PMS Diamond Motors Marcos Hiway

    Mits. Oil 1239.92
    Oil Filter 927.36
    Varsol 62.00
    Rags 7.14

    Total 2236.42

5k PMS Diamond Motors Marcos Hiway

Motul Fully Synthetic Oil (customer provided) 3,700 (NO ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE)

    Oil Filter 927.36
    Car Care Kit 222.88
    Varsol 62.00
    Rags 7.14

    Total paid sa casa 1219.38

Talked with the Service Manager, may memo daw sila that fully synthetic na ang ilagay for our engines pero that is good for 10k kms and palit oil filter every 5k kms. Naubos lahat ng 8 liters oil na dala ko and they said to bring additional 2 liters sa 10k PMS ko for top-up. My mikey thompson tires are ok for them so warranty is not voided. They also checked the uneven stance of my strada - 12mm and 11mm (tolerable variance is 10mm) so they ordered the suspension parts sa planta and tawagan na lang daw ako kung kailan ko dalhin for installation.

But wait! There's more... they will also install a leafspring silencer for my strada FREE OF CHARGE, kasama na sa pagpalit ng suspension parts to correct the uneven stance...

Thats not all! (hehehe, pang infomercial na ang dating ko ah!)... they also gave me a VIP Card for additional discounts for my succeeding visits... 35% off sa parts and 15% off sa labor... NOT BAD AT ALL!

Downside lang is that medyo madami ang nagpapagawa sa kanila... i arrived 1030 am and nakalabas ako 430 pm na, naka-apointment pa ako ng lagay na yun... pero dami ko kasi pinasilip eh, hehehe. Good thing kalapit lang nila Sta Lucia Mall, dun na ako nag-lunch and nanood ng sine to kill time. yung carwash nila after the service is mediocre.

May flat screen TV sila and couches for their clients... free juice, coffee and tea with matching service attendants na taga-timpla... CR is clean... and they have a viewing area so that the owners can see their vehicles while being serviced. Over-all satisfied ako sa service and facilities nila.

Medyo OT... may nakita pa ako dun na client ko who owns a 2007 lancer and pinapaservice nya... after talking to him, i-trade in na daw niya lancer nya for the 08 Strada GLX... right there kinausap na agad yung SA niya... in a few weeks hopefully may bago na naman tayong additional member, hehehe

Good luck, the first thing they will tell you is that the height difference is within spec.

I will be checking on this. *G01 and Ooba99, thanks for bringing this up. I also find it weird that they will have to change the transmission and differential fluids this early- and AFAIK, this is the first time for me to hear this fluids being replaced on this thread on a 1k PMS.

Trivia: The service center of Motorplaza Baguio is located separately at Marcos Hiway near the Baguio City Border in contrast to the Showroom (Tambayan ko) at Bokawkan Road near City Hall.

I will be dropping by their office this coming Wednesday (day-off) to inquire about this.
Thank you, Ianmitsulancer. Please do post any information that you can get from Motorplaza Service Center regarding this matter. I was surprised when my wife told me on the phone that she paid more than 5K because from what I read earlier in this thread, the cost of 1K PMS with the use of mineral oil is around 3K, and this is the amount that I told my wife before she brought our unit to the service center. I thought she opted to use synthetic oil that's why it costs more than the projected price. When my wife sent me thru text messaging the list of things she paid, I was even more surprised to learn that the extra cost is due to the replacement of the transmission and differential oils.

Motorplaza Baguio has so far been very good to me. They’ve treated me well when I was still in the process of acquiring my unit. I was also given more discount / freebies than their standard give-away offers.

I am still in China and been very busy visiting various factories. Will be going to the Canton Fair next week. I will be back on the night of May 2nd and my wife and I will be spending the night in Manila. The following day we have to drop by at a Nissan dealer to get a refund of the reservation fee that I paid when I first thought of getting the “other pick-up truck”. Will be heading straight to Baguio after getting the refund.

my first post on this thread...

i have my warranty voided simply because of these reasons

during my change oil on 1k and 5k kms:

i don't have the list here but as far as my memory serves me

on 1k km change oil using mineral oil cost me P6,700
on 5k using MITSU turbo xp fully synthetic cost me more than P10,000

that's why voided ko na warranty ko maliban sa electrical wirings and i guess damay na rin yung electrical wirings.

no choice kasi sa place namin, walang ibang casa eh.. for the filter alone cost 4000... so, on my 10k km change oil filter cost me 5k++, kaya sa trusted shop na lang ako nagpachange oil.... haiz...

sir, bakit ninyo sinabi na voided ang warranty ninyo? from your post, you mentioned having it done at the dealership near your place. you have been following the PMS schedules.

Nismo26, considering that you are DIY for your PMS, you should take advantage of your trips to Manila by buying strada consummables like oil filter and the synthetic oil. Mas laking mura if you buy it here in Manila, not necessarily in the casa.

Just had my 45k PMS this am. Engine oil changed and only 7.7L of oil lang ginamit sa 4M41 engine.
During my 35k PMS, casa poured 8.35L pero lumampas ng konti sa recommended level.
So totoo nga na 8L lang ang kailangan for the 3.2L engine. Hmmm...
