How many hours kaya to learn the basics? I can borrow naman my bosses old golf sets. I live in Makati btw and work in Sta. Rosa Laguna.

i can't say how many hours. pero may mga tao talaga na ilang practice lang they can already hit the ball. to me though, the game of golf is not at all hitting the ball but swinging through the ball. and the golf swing is a work in progress until you get the "muscle memory."

Di naman kailangan bumili ng bagong set pag nagsisimula, andami second hand diyan na wala pang 10k or if you wanna play, most likely you know someone who does, Im sure meron extra pamalo yan, sigurado ipapahiram sayo yan, ang golfer pinaka masaya yan pag nalaman niya may kaibigan siya gusto matuto.

For lessons most pros charge 500/hr. Pero di lahat ng PRO garantisado matututo ka agad, yung iba patatagalin para matagal ka magbayad. Pero mahirap din talaga ang larong golf.

that is why golf is a mind game...
if you let your swing affect you, you are a goner.
kaya dapat instinct na ang swing, hindi technical. kung saan ang effective sa iyo, dun ka na. hwag mo na baguhin. heck even tiger woods was affected when he changed his coach from butch harmon.
tsaka if you are in a course, enjoy the game..... dont let the hindrances or your issues outside affect you.

ako ganyan.... pag nagmamadali dahil lets say may schedules after ng game, ang sama ng laro. pero pag relaxed, maganda.

kaya i always tee off around 2-3 PM....hehehehe... para wala na rin masyadong kasunod na flight....

just try it bro. you only need a 7- iron or even a pitching wedge at first. buy it second hand. that's it. and you don't need to get the services of a pro. bubba watson is self-taught.

he gave us golf set. hehehe ganun sya ka addict ( mumurahin lang naman yung binigay ), part daw motivation namin to stay loyal to him.

madali kasi ako mafrustrate kaya laging sablay ang palo sa bola.

practice lang yan. rome wasn't made in a day. once you get the hang of it and you'll start playing on the fairway babalikbalikan mo yan.

i started that way too. a friend gave his old mcgregor set to me. parang legacy yan. [emoji3]

    kabait ng boss mo.
my boss is a member of manila golf..... ni minsan nya kaming ma invite to play there.

i suggest, getting a coach for the first 10 sessions..... you need the basics of the swing, the grip, the stance...
the rest can be learned after you get the fundamentals.

Maybe the Tsikot admins can organize a Tsikot golf tournament among members who play and to those who are interested to get into playing.
