Ang gaganda naman ng score niyo. Ako maka 105, happy na.Yung kasabay kong mag aral na kaibigan ko talagang na adik, ngayon, par o bogey na umiskor. Even my wife who started a year later than me, plays better, hehe.
Nag lesson ako 2 years ago, tapos on off maglaro. I havent played a game na ok lahat, ang driver, irons, sa short game and putting.
Pero sarap talaga maglaro, I enjoy the kwentuhan and bonding while playing. I miss the smell of grass, last time I played was dec.
Madalas kami ni misis maglaro sa Capitol Hills near Celebrity sports, Veterans in QC, Sun Valley and Valley golf in Antipolo. We also tried mimosa once and Thunderbird in La Union. Sinama pala ako ng bro in law ko last year sa Volvo Tournament sa Northwoods, kala ko mananalo kalabasa award hahaha. Pero Pinaka maganda nalaruan namin sa Thunderbird.

i had 6 over in par 4 10. damn, it's a shame. i was the champion (for class "b") of this tournament last year.
*Juan Martinez - is that the original R9 (420cc) you're using? I used one before for a long time and it's one of the best small-head drivers I have gamed.
Played for the first time on the fairway today. Caddy says I scored 117, which is pretty awful I guess. [emoji23]
Not really interested in golf but my job calls for it. Haven't even taken the time to read about the terminology. Maybe in time I'll develop a liking for it.

Just keep hitting the range and play more. You'll surely get much lower scores. Also, if you're really going to get yourself deeper into the sport, get yourself properly fitted for your equipment. It will be a waste of resources to buy stuff that are not aligned to your swing profile. Buying and trying out stuff can be costly here in the Philippines unlike in the US where you can return stuff.
Maybe we ought to schedule a Tsikot Golfer's EB.
played a round yesterday and scored 13 over. not bad. going to the range this afternoon in preparation for next week's tournament.
two weeks ago, villamor.... +15.
now in the middle of a swing change... I am not liking my old swing, cannot maximize the distance. working with a pro. by the looks of it, medyo mali ang stance, and kulang ang ikot sa backswing.
me too I'm tweaking my swing. i asked my pro to check on hideki matsuyama's swing where he sort of stopped for micro second on top of his back swing. i need it coz i tend to "over swing." but it's really hard to correct a bad habit especially in golf where it's all muscle memory.
baliktad tayo... you tend to overswing, i tend to underswing. lack of flexibility, i guess.
my new swing now, tends to look like ernie els, pero bumabalik pa din yung tiger woods swing paminsan minsan, due to, yes, you are correct, muscle memory, and it has been a habit for the past 10 years.
siguro mga 2-3 month practice pa, until i get used to it.
such an expensive game for people with large tummies. I mean you carry a big golf bag everyday with maybe half-a-million worth of clubs in it. then you wardrobe mo pa, gloves, hat, golf shoes, pads and others. and Then golfers often brag about walking like 50km in one game. and yet pagtapos ng game lamon sa golf club, sinigang, kare-kare, etc.
Golf should be considered a sport. coz sports are for one primary purpose, getting fit. but I don't see that in the golf courses. the alibi that you can do business with others sa golf maybe, pero that will soon end with Facebook groups. parang kumpano i-replace ng Apple watch and Android wear yun mga expensive Tags nyo.
