Time Asia has recently polled different personalities from Asian
countries to become candidates for this year's Asia's Heroes of 2005.
The phase is now in the final stage and we would like to happily
announce that P4P mainstay and Philippine boxing superstar Manny
Pacquiao is one of the finalists.

Other personalities who make to the finals are former Philippine
President Corazon Aquino, current Philippine president Gloria
Macapagal Arroyo, Kung Fu Legend Jackie Chan, The Dalai Lama of Tibet
and Olympic gold medalist Liu Xiang of China, among others.
The hottest competitor of Manny to take the top slot however,
is the Korean pop star Rain.

The winner, who will ultimately become Asia's Hero of 2005, will be
featured in a cover story in one of Time Asia's future issues.
