"Regardless of who wins, even if St. Pierre loses, a fight with me can happen. A fight like this is above anything else. St. Pierre is one of the greatest of the UFC. Right now, a fight with Condit is meaningless." -Anderson Silva via BloodyElbow

Entering the dawn of his career, it appears that Anderson Silva wants a megafight. The long-time UFC champion hasn't lost in almost 7 years and has dropped an absolute Lysol bomb on the entire middleweight division. He recently turned down a fight with young up-and-comer Chris Weidman siting a lack of interest in the fight, and instead has begun campaigning for a "superfight" with longtime welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre.

It's a fight Dana White and the UFC have dangled in front of fans like raw meat to a pack hungry wolves for years, but for one reason or another the stars just haven't aligned. St. Pierre, for his part, has been open to the match up in the past, and even considered the possibility of moving up to middleweight full time before he injured his knee over a year ago, so this fight can certainly take place if the UFC brass want to put it together.

It's likely that Georges St. Pierre would have to defeat Carlos Condit and look healthy in the process, before the UFC would put their blessing on the match up and it's being reported that the bout would take place at a 178-pound catchweight.

anyway i think mga 2 years pa bago mang yari yan. sigurado condit muna mag lalaban at gsp after that diaz naman at gsp since matagal na inaabangan ng mga fans gsp vs diaz.
